I dont get why a normal educated girl from a middle class family cannot pronounce phone correctly when mostly everyone from the challiwalas to the sweepers know how to prnounce it.
She does not mispronounce Acidity.
That is a bit unrealistic.
Do not try to fool us into actually beliving this.
CVs might think its adorable but i kind of dont,it's a bit embarassing.
Some of u might not feel the same way and have a different opinion which is totally okay.
=)
I am sorry if anyone got offended or something because that wasn't what i meant,im just stating a fact =)

How do you pronounce 'schedule'?

Skedule? or shedule?

How would a non-Bengali pronounce Bijoy Doshami?

How would a German pronounce Ja?

People have different accents and different pronunciations depending on their background ... it is not a reflection of their class or educational status alone.

According to me older people wont try to correct their slang eventhough we correct them.
But I think young ones especially new generation are willing to correct mistakes in pronounciation.
If I know that a word pronounced by me is wrong then I will surely try to correct it.
I'm surprised that why she is not trying to change it
According to me soul of a language is its pronounciation, the native speakers wont tolerate mispronounciation of their language.

I think we have established that Kushi KNOWS english... as she understands everything our Arnie baby tells her in his "posh" accent! LOL
Therefore... if she does mis-pronounce certain words due to her upbringing... I dont see this is a major issue! However "pone" does bug me and I wish she WOULD say "phone"!
I am not from India and live in NZ, so I dont know how people in ceratin regions of India may or may not pronounce words! However... I do not think this has anything to do with Kushi's education or lack of! I think we know she does have enough Education to work in a company like AR even if it's just for a week!
