But why is staying at home considered a bad, spoilt thing…many girl do like to stay at home to take care of family and being a good wife, there are lots of examples of girls who are highly educated stay at home mom and wife…wife are generally and historically considered to be the 'home maker' not the 'money maker'….I know a girl from the Engineering dept. from IIT, Kanpur, who did her Ph.D from a highly reputed Western University to be a 'stay at home mom"…the priorities differs in different individuals and who are we to judge people who are different with different priorities in life, just as we shouldn't be judging Arjun to seems to be into 'business' at a very young age…are we criticizing him to 'be all work and no play'….besides Ovi is rich enough to afford the luxury to stay at home and be a ideal 'homemaker" unlike Poorvi who need to support others coming from a middle class background….

I have nothing bad to say about Ovi, who am I to judge her for the little happiness she has. Some people get a college degree as an intrinsic motivation, not everyone have the need to gain it to support themselves. How long did Archu work after she got married, didn't she stay at home throughout her marriage? So, I can't see how Ovi is wrong.

Ovi is 19 and supposed to be in college...She is not from a poor family where she needs to go work...As a matter of fact OVI is portrayed to be proper teenager in college..

While Purvi is shown to be done with studying and working for a company in Sr. Mgr position for 3 yrs...All unrealistic and unbelivable..

So All power to Ovi who is not only pretty, levelheaded and mature teenager who is in love...much more normal for a 19 yrs young girl..

Kalapi I totally agree with your post...Nothing wrong for a woman to stay at home and take care of your ...Who says what a woman must do..

As a matter of fact it was wrong for Archana to be sitting at home spending her husband's money on her mayka...Not taking care of her kids Sachu-SOham or husband's earnings...At that time she needed either to be a mother and wife or go out and work since most of her husband's earning was being spent on Karanjkars..

now tell me did archana ever work when she was in D house ... NOT A SINGLE DAY ... manav was alone working & toiling

now some people will say that manav had only prohibited her ... to which i wud like to say ... did archana listen to him on SN pooja ... did archana listen to him in chawl case ... did archana listen in party when she gave soham to vrsha

archana neither went out to work nor she took care of kids properly

she is 1 utterly useless good for nothing woman who just sucked manav like a leech & a gold digger

when manav used to work late nights then she did tamashas by giving him cold treatment ... bcoz in those times he cudnt provide for her physical requirements !!!

the only remarkable thing which archana did was destroying madhuri

As for the title of this topic, I don't know if you are seroius of joking. If you are serious, then you need to go to school and take biology. Yes Ovi has inherited Archana's genes, but behavior is not a gene. It is impossible to genetically inherit "nature" or being a girly-girl, dreaming of a guy, dressing up, etc.

The way someone behaves goes with how they were brought up, so if anyone is to blame it's Manav, who has obviously spoiled Ovi.

Also, we all have to remind our selves this is a daily soap, it's not real life. Blame the CVS for showing cheap material!

i agree a person has to move on in life after a certain amount of time. some people watching this show cannot differentiate between what is real and what is not. remember this is a soap .
