"Please, Ridzy. It's the one thing we can do before we leave Muski to her new life," squeaked Aditi and that was the final nail. I had been friends enough with her to figure that she wouldn't leave until I gave in to her taunts. Her lecture convincing me had lasted a good 15 minutes and I sincerely pitied Vivek for having to tolerate her unbinding mouth. Besides, I to wanted to make Muskaan's wedding a festival more than just a ceremony. "Fine! We will do it. But after I change," I said and shaking my head, I walked into my room. I undraped the midnight blue sari I was clad in. For a moment, as I glanced in the mirror, I eyed my body intently in his eyes; I had never dwelled into engaging myself in affairs related to physical beauty but something about today made me notice it. Probably it was because I wanted to know how much he saw in the fraction of the second; I mentally ridiculed at the possibility of him enjoying what he saw but there was this mental harassment of his seeing a piece of me, however meagre it was, that tormented and filled a part of my thoughts. I was forced to trail off my line of thought as Aditi banged the door impatiently. I quickened my pace and soon I was in a crimson lehenge, the long skirt falling up til my ankles. My ankles. The creamy skin of my anklets looked bare, so I grabbed my anklets and adorned it over my pair of ankles. Once again, the anklets reminded me of his pestering nature but I soon recovered realizing that it would be foolish of me to avoid wearing them just because I connected it with him. A second bang came and praying that the door would remain in one piece, I strode. "Wow! You don't look bad," his ever so voice waved into ears. I just knew how my facial features contorted. There he stood right by the staircase resting his elbows on the handrails. I pretended to have ignored his comment but no denying that the sudden uncommon compliment brought a few butterflies in my stomach. Aditi beamed. "You definitely look pretty", she said as she swept a small finger at her kajal and dabbed it onto the boney jaw beneath my cheeks. I thanked her quietly for praises got me a little fuzzy on the insides. On an instinct, I looked at Armaan and caught him strongly scrutinizing me. Why did I always get the feel that he had an undeterred intention of dissecting me completely? It was odd and obviously creepy because I had never known anyone do that, not to me atleast.

"Armaan, you are prepared, right?" asked Aditi. "Yep!" he snapped, happily. They got talking and as much as the idea of him being in the scene tickled me, I didn't voice my frustration.

Armaan's voice reached every one's attention in a very short span of time. He gestured at Muskaan and I could see the corner of her eyes glistening.

Armaan pulled Rahul out from next to Muskaan and prompted him to shake a leg.

The virus had spread. Everyone in the room was syncing their lips to the song playing. I noticed how Armaan was the one in the centre, inviting the guests to feel the vibes. I smiled at him for the first openly and then upon realizing what I just did, I quietly straightened my mouth. But the straightening was to be there.

My heart was pounding against my chest begging him to stop it. He had whispered each of the words into my ears, revolving around me. Whether it was the huskiness with which each syllable came from his vocals or the too deep a meaning I saw in them, something struck a chord in me. I waited with bated breath for the throbbing to stop but it didn't even after he had moved on to dance.

It was only after Aditi pushed me to dance did I regain my senses. Vivek dragged Aditi back and told her she couldn't dance. She fought back but this time she had to submit to Vivek for his serious concern was obvious.

Strangely the room was filled with couples. How it happened, no one knew. But even as the song played in the background, Rahul ' Muskaan, Aditi ' Vivek and the other couples from the guests were circling. The girls murmured the song and the elders had to close their eyes. I had eyes only for Muskaan who looked nothing short of a princess. I wiped my cheeks as a tear made it way down.

Armaan played the ant in the paradise and disrupted magical couple moments. He dragged them onto the dance floor.

The hall was in laughs and hugs. Even as the song ended, the mood still lingered. And I just knew that Muskaan would not have wanted more. My eyes drifted at Armaan. I had one reason less to hate him.

Author's Note : And that was the lamest thing I have ever written my entire life. Trust me guys, the minute you all tell me to end this FF, I will end it. Off late, I have been missing AR way too much and that's impacting on what I write. I just want to say thank you to each one of you guys who is standing by me even in this pathetically written story. I keep feeling that I have destroyed the story so badly. And this chapter proved me right. Guys, please feel free to tell criticize me and honestly, I will not believe it if someone told me this was an awesome part. BTW PMs later.
