But well, it is always likely that there should be this real big hole in a person's social circle that they choose internet as a better medium to 'have a life'. I think it is very easy to manipulate on the internet, and the works. I guess being online is mostly avoiding the inconvenience of going out and discovering people are the same everywhere, you can't really classify into kinds the people who do whatever they do on the internet, not really.

Well, living only a virtual life isn't possible. I should have clarified that I meant social life because that is the context of the discussion.

Yes, as I said earlier, it is odd, weird and sometimes creepy to think of a person who relies heavily on internet for his social needs.. but I would still not call them a loser. As I said, depending on their use of the internet, they can turn out to be a genius or a pedophile. I would also agree that it is one kind of weakness or a disease that a human would rather spend more time with computer than other humans but... well... there are different people.

You see, either way, it's human beings we're interacting with, the virtual intercourse can only guarantee a little less disgust, cause like I have been mentioning, people are pretty much the same everywhere, same double-standards and pointless existences, following the lead of dimwits. Anyway, alright, the point is, I would agree when you say it's some sorta disease anyway because I personally dun think it is wise to get social in reality, because I happen to have a noticeable character, only it's not likable. So societal norms have long sentenced that I am an outcast. That's kinda why I brought this topic up.

Other than the bold part, I agree with you. I cannot agree with you on the bold part due to my lack of experience in virtual intercourse.

People can socialize in the virtual world as well. Spending time in internet forums and chatrooms are in some way a lot better than playing video games or watching movies or even reading books as there is a greater chance of two-way communication here (both giving and receiving inputs) unlike the former cases. If the internet helps people with poor social skills to socialize one bit, then it's totally worth it.

However, there is only so much we can do here. The virtual world can't provide us with real human touch, nor can it pay for our expenses or give a place for us to sleep. Sooner or later, the demands of the non-virtual world will overshadow the benefits of the virtual one. Considering that the virtual world is like an additional luxury we can purchase rather than the real life being an additional factor of our virtual life, anyone who puts more devotion and dedication to the virtual world than the real one - to the point that it starts affecting his really life persona - will be a loser. So yes, in a way, it's true.

Oh, yes. The word is balance, the balance in the most mundane, routine-like things. Though, what I am really trying to ask it whether the whole virtually-inclined persona of someone makes em this insult in the name of someone who has legs, because all they do is hang em off the chair all day in front of the computer. 🤓

Yes there is a danger if too much time is spent playing online games or idly chatting. They will definitely become losers 😆

But the thought is still persevere. Yesterday I happened to catch this little bit of Roadies on MTV wherein either Raghu or Rajeev told one of the contestants who'd come for the audition that he's no life. For, he spends most of his free time on the internet.

first of all i would like to question them if they have life ? honestly speaking i don't like a bit either of both of them for their misbehavior with guileless contestants , i assume that they both are running that show then it does not mean that they thoughtlessly berate anybody on national tv . moreover who spends most of his time on internet then according to them ,those ones don't have life? what a joke cracked from them it reflects their ignorance for sure.. Apparentally they are unaware of fact that persons who spend time on internet get to know a lots of stuffs than they learn going in their creepy show,Roadies.

Now, in that fashion, he was partially right. You dun have anywhere to go, no friends to see, you go online. Point is, how does anyone get to decide if you are a loser, get what I mean?

As far as i feel that ever person is loser because he loses something of him whether daily or week but if spending time on internet one is considered loser , i utterly disagree to what is said by those both brothers ... they themselves seem to be loser who don't get to do better except berating in seasons of Roadies..

Questions:

Do you think people who spend more than two hours on the computer for things apart from study and work are, 'losers'?

no

What is so appealing about virtue that no one wants to get out of there Facebook-comfort-zone?

facebook is boring place indeed

They aren't totally wrong, as a matter of fact.
People can spend time whichever way they like, but what's important is, we realize where we stand and how satisfied we feel with what we're doing. There HAS to be some loophole somewhere, which is why one feels more comfortable on the internet.
