I don't understand why Karan is wrong? Being a mother was Hetal right to wish her unborn child's death?

Karan is right to be extremely angry. He's wrong in wanting nothing to do with the child but he's angry and people don't realize what they say in anger, he'll regret it once the child is born and knowing Hetal, she'll take full advantage of that when the time comes.
