With the promise made by Gopi for Ahem's happiness & self respect...the first instance came for her to keep the promise when Ahem asked for tea, ...Over the period of sometime thou Gopi has been putting her pallu in front of Ahem, she got used to doing it at a pace which was comfortable, but when Ahem asked for tea, she hurried putting it on...similar to the days after her taking back her Vows...Ahem on his part is now so used to her taking care of him & his needs that he failed to see her hurriedness...When his mom offered to bring the tea, he did not know what to say & agreed for the same...
As soon as Ahem saw Jigar, he was anxious to findout what happened at office...not a word said but his expressions gave out...Gopi was a witness to Jigar's conversation that how much Ahem was required in the office & how an important deal is coming up for closure...With Jigar insisting that Ahem be there in office tomm, Ahem after much hesitation agreed on the same. Kokilla was taken back that Ahem agreed & rejected the request saying that only based on Ahem's health will she agree...indirectly she told Gopi that unless she keeps her word , her husband will not be allowed to work !!!
The evening bought Ahem searching for Gopi to ask her about his blue file...it clearly shows how dependent & confident is he on her for his things...he observed clearly as Gopi was startled at his closeness, how she refused his help to pick up the clothes which were fallen down, how she guided him to the file than the usual way of picking up & giving it to him...he thought for few minutes to see if she would respond back the usual way of her attention completely on him which he has gotten so used to... but was suprised to see her head down & very hesitant in reaching out to him for the file...He then cut her off saying that he will handover the file to Jigar as he needs to explain himsomething...After she left he stood there wondering that there is a change in her but he was unable to pinpoint the exact change & thinking what could have happened for her to change & what was troubling her...he was taken back by the change in her not knowing what can be done to get her back to look at him with shyness & complete admiration which she shows it thru her eyes !!!
Gopi observed her husband being restless after dinner...she was worried for him & did not want to create more problems for him...from coming into the room after he slept...to latter time of being with him as he continued to work..to the time of her recuperating when he took care of her by playing ludo to massaging her feet to discussing about Raji's problems...Gopi waited for her husband everyday as they rested in the night...She knew that they havent spoken since morning & he would definetly want to speak with her...or if he tries to speak to her she will not be able to hold-on to her promise to her maaji !!!
Ahem on his part from hating to share his room with her, to getting used to living with her, searching for her in the night as she was preparing for the school admission, to giving up his bed for her comfort, to taking care of her during her accident & now feels incomplete without her...the room especially the private time they get to spend with each other have been during the nights when they are together with no one disturbing them...has Ahem gotten used to & loves the fact that she waits for him so that they can both settle to rest together in the night !!! when he saw her sleeping he was suprised that she slept early which she has not done in the past year+ of their married life & was concerned that maybe she was not well...his concern for her was so much that he touched her forehead to see if she was running temperature...when he observed that she was fine, he justified it to himself that she must be tired & hence slept early...has it become a habit for him her to wait for her everyday in the night where in they could have their own time...did he want to speak to her ...did he want to share his inner feelings which have been put off guard by his mom's punishment? Did he want to speak with her to understand what was troubling her??? But she never gave him the opportunity as she acted that she was asleep...
Ahem has observed the change in her, but does not know what has caused it...when the kiss happened he knew the incident & how she would react, but now he has no clue about the incident to react or to put her in comfort by taking care of things which worry her !!! He was able to handle her indifference for today but will he be able to handle it as the days go by...will he try to know what was troubling her or will he accept that this is the best for him to concentrate on work & continue to please his mom...One thing to note that thou Gopi has promised her maaji that she will stay away from Ahem, Ahem has not made any such promise...so will there come a day when he will know the reason for her indifference & the unspoken love & respect Gopi has for him? What will he do then & whom will he support?
