How many of you feel that Akshara's life is like a pretty bird's life in a golden cage?
She is protected but then she also takes care of them.
As a fullgrown human, she is not allowed to exercise her real feelings.
If she does, she is not appreciated.

If she is given too much freedom, will she misuse it? Is this the fear for those elders?

She has to live within those lakshman rekhas.

Even her parents expect her to live the life of an adarsh bahu.

What is actually an adarsh bahu? A pliable bahu?

Many times I feel sorry for the beautiful Akshara and also for the progressive Naitik whose first duty is to please the elders. Do the elders ever think of moving with times?

u can find many bahus in rajasthan like akshara,i live in nasik n marwadi too in our society in some family still educated bahus r not allowed to work outside n compulsory they take pallu ...

I cant even think of this type of life coz i have never seen it ! U see today we are here in urban cities in which families dont practice these rules ! For them these rules are traditions cultures nd values.. 😊 for akshara this may not be cage for us it maybe.. Coz she is born into dat family nd had seen her mom grandmom doing the same !! For every individual values differ !!😊

Totally agree.. who cares.. If a guy like naitik comes into my life i am ready to adjust all other things.. 😳
