Not so long ago, Abraham refused Yash Raj Films' Jhoom Barabar Jhoom because he didn't want to play second fiddle to Abhishek Bachchan. During a heated argument with Salman during the Rockstars tour, Khan warned John about "Crossing swords with too many people, including Yash Raj Films, which is such a big and influential production house." John realised the long-term consequences of his newly developed starry attitude and decided to patch up with the Chopras. He decided to meet Aditya Chopra and apologise. After returning from his whirlwind tour, John went to see Aditya. But Chopra Jr was in no mood to see him. John waited endlessly, but Aditya didn't show up. Someone people just don't believe in forgiving and forgetting.
Holi hai:
Here's a sneak peak at Sushmita's Bollywood-Hollywood collaboration film, Karma Confessions and Holi. The film also stars Rati Agnihotri, Deepal Shaw and Suchitra Krishnamurthi. We came across a blog by Suchitra on intentblog.com, where she talks about a friend who has recently spilt with her boyfriend. It's a lovely poem. Can't help wondering if it is Sush-Randeep that she is talking about. Why? Because it is titled Karma Confusions and Candid Confessions... Wanna confess, Suchitra?
Vidya in, Priyanka out:
Priyanka Chopra's not acting in Raj Kumar's Santoshi's new social drama with Ajay Devgan. Guess who's replaced her? The new pretty face on the block — Vidya Balan. The reason for Chopra's exit being the usual date problems. Santoshi wanted bulk dates from Priyanka as he wanted to complete the film in one schedule, but instead she could give only a few days at a time. Anyways, Piggy Chops' loss is Vidya's gain. Though Ajay is currently in Film City shooting for the film, Vidya is flying down from Chennai to join him soon. Now that should make an interesting combination!
Ramu, I hate you:
Did you know that Onir of the My Brother Nikhil fame doesn't watch any Ram Gopal Varma films? He'd mad at Varma as Ramu refused to pay him for editing a theatrical trailer and promotional video of Bhoot. Innumerable messages and calls failed to elicit a response from Ramu. And that's when Ramu looked through Onir when they came face-to-face with Onir at the gym. Says Onir, "I wouldn't waste 100 or 150 bucks at a theatre on watching an RGV film. This is because he didn't pay up a single penny towards my remuneration. I landed up in a financial crunch while paying my assistants and clearing other bills. I repent being nice to him and giving him the option of paying me later." Over to Ramu now.

She was 18 then. Her first Tollywood outing, a sad excuse called Biyer Phool (Wedding Flower). The dud was directed by daddy dearest. And just who might this Bong belle in question, be? A certain Rani Mukerji, as it turns out. The selfsame Rani, who was later seen in Raja Ki Aayegi Baraat and Mehendi (both equally shoddy attempts), before Ghulam and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai sent her soaring to the starry heavens. First appearances, are indeed, quite deceptive. So don't give up hope, all ye aspiring actresses out there who start with small or sad films. If you've got talent, nothing can stop you.
Gandhi clone:
We received a book on Omkara. It tells the story of the film, describes the characters, and has stills of all the star cast — Ajay Devgan, Viveik Oberoi,Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, and Konkana Sen, but what caught out eye was this picture of Naseeruddin Shah. He reminds us of Mahatma Gandhi. But his character in Omkara is nothing like the Father Of The Nation. In fact, Shah plays a bhai in the film. He's called Bhaisaab, a ruthless man who's a political mentor to Omi — Ajay Devgan.
