That was really really sweet😃 It was nice to see M caring about UV but I like how he didnt give so easily. Also glad that Unnati helped, I've always wanted her to be the force that brings them together😊 All in all, it was awesome and I loved it!

Sonali Loved the Os.. it was so cute I just adored the way Manyata made up for her behavior.. as well as how she realized her mistake only if this would take place in DEK.. Update soon..😛

Twelfth OS- Finding her Way Home

Manyata glanced at her clock as the wedding festivities winded down. She had fought with him to come here tonight. He had wanted her to never look back at her past. All he wanted was her to move forward with him. They had fought over her decision to come here for Soni's wedding.

"Chikki is not there either. Soni needs at least one of her best friends there tonight!," she had declared.

He held her firmly by her arms and rolled his eyes when he realized he could not win this battle.

"Phir theek hai. Tum jao, but don't expect me to talk to you the rest of the day," he hissed.

"I don't care. I am going whether you like it or not," she stammered.

All she wanted was to go to her friend's wedding, what was the big deal?

They had ignored each other for most of the day. She rather have their normal nok-jok then this awkward silence between them. She turned to look as Soni and her groom finished their pheras. Her own wedding had been the month before. He had given her space. He didn't try to get close to her when she didn't feel she was ready. She smiled at the times he had seemed to want to be romantic with her and she would somehow slip away with one task or the other. She would make it up to him when she returned tonight.

The rituals had been completed. Manyata snapped out of her thoughts and headed over to hug her friend. As other relatives came forward, Manyata said her good byes and decided it was time for her to head home and make it up to her husband.

She smiled as she reached her car. It had taken her weeks to convince her family and her now husband to allow her to take driving lessons and to eventually drive herself every now and then. She wanted to be a normal regular girl sometimes. She loved these rare occasions.

She settled down in the car, suddenly realizing she had not eaten since the afternoon.

" I am so silly just because I had some silly fight with him doesn't mean I should forget about eating," she smiled to herself as she started her car.

It was growing late as Udayveer went over to the rajmahal. He expected his wife was still angry with him and would have come to see her mother. Unfortunately he was surprised that she had not arrived there yet. Brijraj noticed his expression falling.

"Kya hua Uday beta? Manyata has been troubling you?," he joked.

He knew his daughters had their moods.

Aahatien from Ek Main Ekk Tu playing in the background as Udayveer thinks about their fight.

"Uncle Brij, just the usual. She wanted to go to her chawl friend's wedding,"Udayveer quipped.

Brijraj smiled.

"We didn't know always how to handle her because she has spent most of her life in that place but you have changed her the most. Don't worry I am sure soon she will get used to her duties and we won't be having anymore issues about this anymore," he stated.

Udayveer smiled. The son-in-law sat down with his father-in-law for a drink.

An hour later Udayveer was pacing back and forth and kept checking his phone. Where the heck was she?

She couldn't believe that the breaks had stopped working. Who could have done this? When she was coming here the car was fine.

"Oh drats! Isse abhi karve hona tha!," she exclaimed. ( This had to go bad now!)

She knew she had to find a safe place to possibly crash her car. She couldn't let anyone get hurt. She began to think of her family, and her moments with Udayveer from the time they met at the beach over a year ago to up today when they had their fight.

She tried to fight her tears.

"Focus Manyata. You can't let anyone else get hurt," she told herself.

She found some shrubbery. She sighed.

"Here goes nothing,"she said before going for it.

She opened her eyes. She looked around. There was smoke coming from the hood of the car. She assessed herself. She could feel some blood on her forehead and some scratches on her arms. She unfastened her seatbelt and slowly was able to get through the door.

She was closer to her maayaka. She would rather go there first and get cleaned up.

"Gosh if Udayveer sees me like this he will never let me go anywhere again. I am sure I can have Ma cover for me until the morning," she thought to herself.

She decided to text him once she got there. She hailed a rickshaw.

"Madam aap ko hospital le chalen?," the driver inquired.

"Nahin sabji. Humhe ghar jaana hain," she insisted.

Udayveer had started to assemble his security team and was calling around to other associates that could help locate Manyata at the wedding. He had just received word that Manyata had left the venue over an hour ago when there was some commotion at the doorway. He turned to see some servants gathered around the doorway. They were holding up a weary and injured Manyata. She indicated for them to let her go.

"Mahrani Komal ko bulayee," she insisted. One of them nodded and headed off to find Komal.

She looked startled to see him there. He nearly dropped his phone.

"Manyata yeh sab kaise hogaya?," he exclaimed.

"Aap yahaan? I was just about to sms you," she stated.

He looked at her sternly.

"You were going to hide this from me?," he inquired.

"Only until the morning," she said meekly.

"Very bad move princess. You should never hide anything from me," he hissed. He approached her and grabbed her wrist. He sat her down as Komal emerged frantically rushing towards them.

"Manyata beta yeh kaise hogaya?," she inquired.

Dadisa was startled at her granddaughter's state.

"Manyata how did you get hurt like this?," she inquired.

"Dadisa my car breaks weren't working. I tried everything then I had to crash the car," she gasped before fainting.

Everyone shouted her name frantically. Udayveer picked her up in his arms and took her inside. Doctor Saab arrived and started assessing her injuries.

He turned to the others looking alarmed.

"She has low glucose and low blood pressure. I'll start her on IV fluids and we will have to make sure she doesn't fall asleep for twenty-four hours," he stated.

"Yeh kyun Doctor Saab?," Dadisa inquired.

"She has suffered a concussion. If she falls asleep, we may loose her forever," he declared with a grave expression.

Brijraj exclaimed,"Kya?"

Dadisa and Komal gasped.

Udayveer looked firm and stronger than everyone else. He believed he was in part to blame for this. However no matter whose fault this all happened, he would not loose his princess again.

"Doctor Saab I will make sure we don't lose her,"Udayveer declared.

Everyone put an assuring hand on his shoulder. He entered the room. He looked at her now bandaged head and the IV drip hanging nearby. He sat down beside her and placed his hand on hers.

She slowly opened her eyes.

"I am sure you are really mad at me today," she stated.

"Haan hum bauth ghussa hain aap par," he said with a stern look.

She grabbed her ear.

"Sorry Udayveer," she said with a sweet smile.

He looked at her nonchantly.

"Hum aap ko aise halat main nahin dek sakte," he said solemnly.

She grinned.

"No problem, I'll get up right now," she said before wincing with pain.

"Manyata relax," he insisted.

She nodded. He leaned over and helped her sit up straight.

"Promise me you'll never do this again. No matter if we fight or not you will not skip meals or let yourself get hurt like this again," he stated.

She looked at him and caressed his cheek.

"You really do love me a lot," she said.

"Haan nahin toh!," he said with his signature.

She wrapped her free arm around his neck.

"So what is my punishment?," she inquired.

He smiled.

He pinched her cheek.

"You can't sleep for the next twenty-four hours. Doctor Saab said you have a concussion," he stated.

She pouted.

"What if I feel sleepy," she inquired.

He looked at her sternly for a second then started to tickle her.

She giggled a bit. He realized her clothes were torn.

"Manyata why don't you change?," he suggested.

"Pelhe aap baar jao," she stated.

"No what if you fall asleep. Who will keep you awake," he stated.

" Theek hai help me with that stupid pole. I'll go in the bathroom and change," she declared.

He pulled the pole closer to her and supported her by holding her waist. She looked into his eyes. She felt a tingling feeling in her stomach. He tucked her hair behind her ear. She smiled slightly.

Once she reached the washroom safely he stood behind the door listening for her call in case she needed help. She freshened up without pulling out her IV. He supported her by the waist again. She blushed as she could not bear the intensity of his glare.

He found some old home videos and some Tom and Jerry reruns. They laughed together. Both turned solemn when they watched the footage of him handing her medicine for her wound. He had accidently hit her with his sword. She clasped his hand realizing that had event had haunted him for sixteen years.

They exchanged a long eye lock.

She whispered," I love you and I'll try not to fight with you too much."

He smiled slightly. He wiped the lone tear from her eye.

Udayveer held her close.

There was a knock on the door. They separated from each other. Unnati smiled at them. She had just arrived with a change of clothes for both of them.

"How are you feeling Manyata?," she inquired.

"I am feeling much better thanks Unnati.," she assured her sister-in-law. Udayveer went to get ready first and Unnati joined Manyata on her bed.

"Manyata yeh accident kaise hogaya?,"Unnati inquired.

Manyata quickly explained what had happened the day before. Unnati listened carefully.

"You know Dada will investigate the situation himself and some employees will loose their jobs,"Unnati stated.

"No worries. No innocent person will suffer for my stubbornness," she declared.

Unnati smiled.

"Hey tell me about your trip to London. Is Jai Nandini adjusting well with her work there?," Manyata inquired.

"Yes she has started to keep herself busy these past few weeks. You know her and I never get along but she is eager to have you and Dada come to her first show next month,"Unnati said.

Manyata smiled.

" I do miss her despite the silly things she does sometimes. I'll give her a call when we return home later."

Udayveer emerged as Doctor Saab was covering her IV site up with plastic.

"She should be fine as along this doesn't get wet. I may need to restart the fluids if her blood glucose is low after breakfast," he stated firmly.

He gave Udayveer a considerate look before he took his leave.

Unnati and Udayveer helped Manyata get up and into the washroom. Udayveer left Unnati with Manyata and head down to see the rest of the family.

"Uday beta ab Manyata kaisi hain?," Dadisa inquired.

"Dadisaab hum ne humara vaada nahin thora. Manyata was awake the whole night. Doctor Saab will monitor her blood pressure and blood sugar today. She is doing well despite everything,"Udayveer declared.

Dadisa smiled and looked at Brijraj and Komal.

"We made the right decision. Udayveer was the best choice for our Manyata," she declared.

Udayveer smiled trying not to blush. He got a sms on his phone. He turned grave.

"I think we should have Manyata's tray brought upstairs. Unnati just messaged me that she is still feeling weak," he said.

"Theek hai beta. Aap jaiye. I will have them bring the trolley up for you and Manyata," Komal stated.

Unnati joined the others downstairs as Udayveer started to feed Manyata.

She would barely finish chewing one thing when he would be ready with more. She would frown and fidget. He would hold her arm down and keep feeding he. She started to make him eat some too. They shared some nok-jok.

Later on Doctor Saab cleared her and they returned to the Jaighar estate in Mumbai.

Manyata was glad to be alive and felt somewhat better. She recalled she needed to make it up to Udayveer. He had taken care of her whole night and today.

His eyes met hers. She looked at him shyly.

He approached her slowly with his signature smirk.

She batted her eyelashes at him.

"Manyata ab aap ko kya hua?," he inquired.

"Kuch nahin," she said.

He smiled.

"All right then. I should go oversee some things at the club. I'll be back in a few hours," he stated.

She grabbed his wrist.

He looked at her surprised.

" Did you forgive me?," she inquired.

He checked her forehead.

"You aren't warm. Manyata should I call Doctor Uncle?"

She pulled him closer. She hesitated at first before standing up on her tipy toes and kissing his cheek.

When she stepped back, he looked at her pleasantly surprised. He pulled her close to him and just held her, as he caressed her hair and back. She felt her knees go weak. She felt a few wet spots on her shoulder. She stepped back and looked up to his dark orbs. She kissed the tear drops from his cheeks.

"Don't you dare tell anyone princess. I was just scared of losing you," he declared.

"Maine kuch nahin dekha," she said nonchantly.

He caressed her face and hair then cupped her chin and pulled her in for a kiss. She was his for keeps and he would never let go without a fight.

"That was your punishment for fighting with me," he hissed.

She smiled.

She had found her way home after all. It was his arms like she was now. She felt the rest of world had faded away.
