Guys, correct me if am saying wrong!!! but hats off to them they have never let any media to know about their relationship it was so well maintined and they have acted so well!!!

i guess everybody knows it right before they did two films together...their debut what was tht name,...tujhe meri kasam, and masti its freaking obvious they had it going...and its upto them to keep it a secret...even on TV couples saying no no and get married...

personally i am disappointed with Genelia as she did not shape her career as well after JTYJN, she knows now tht bollywood may not have tht value for her so it was ok to get married, disappointed with her for her movie choices, tht GAY movie chance pe dance where Shahid promoted his butt pads...W*F? was tht...why did she do tht movie and her career is over.. ...and for riteish...he will keep getting some ikka duka movies by kissing asses of some big dadios of bolly but m sure he can't leave any mark ...

so congo to them...for a happy married life

I think Genelia had a very good career in south indian cinema .. she never seemed like the over-competitive types who make it big in bollywood .. I've never heard her or Ritesh speak crap about anyone in the industry to get limelight or attract attention .. I guess it all has to do with the fact that ritesh comes from a political family and he may take up politics as the career in future .. so both of them have always maintained a certain dignity to keep the family name respectable .. and I think Genelia is a fine actress and she did maintain that she will continue working in movies with whatever offers she gets .. it's more like being an ex-CM's bahu and a future CM's wife she doesn't wants to spoil her image in the public by sleeping around and hence, she didn't get much work .. I actually like such people who do not give up their dignity to get some movies .. I mean Genelia comes from a well-to-do family .. she was brought up in Bandra is what I heard .. as per the information I have from some of my friends who've lived in mumbai, Bandra is supposed to be a rich peoples' locality and then I guess she made enough money by doing movies in southern cinema .. and then she was never the contender for the top slot in bollywood .. so it does make sense to not give up your morals etc to try to get some movies and then spoil your image in the industry when you can easily settle down with a rich guy whom you are in love with .. she isn't that old either .. just 24 as per wikipedia .. so guess she never needed to be a part of the cut throat competition world that would have made her a huge success in bollywood

I would say hats off to them for managing the media curiosity about their wedding. They gave out all the info without seeming like wannabees. I just hate those types who act all coy revealing details about their functions and yet keep releasing gossip thru sources.

@ nptfdo : so do u think every actress sleeps beyond to get work in bollywood...?? well i agree on a major part but not everyone...come' on dats way too much'

and i am not concerned abt South otherwise i would have mentioned South as i know she is a big name there, even Sunny leone is big in her po*n industry since its a bollywood forum i am talking abt here...and Please Genelia never showed any versatility in her career and it doesnt mean tht she is 24 or 26, she has the potential i know...she can do wonders...and i dont think she needs to sleep as well to get that work...and since she is married now, it is going to be proved a dent in her career, no matter in which age u get married, in movies u are not accepted especially women in bollywood when u are being hit by the marriage stamp.

but still all the best to them...

well as per my understanding, to get all those masala hits, either you have to be a powerful actor's/director's girlfriend or you have to sleep around with people in the industry ..

Though Ritesh is powerful in his own political ways but not as much otherwise he himself would have signed some biggies .. or maybe he doesn't wants to use his political connections ..

whatever .. am not saying that Genelia is a bad actress .. no doubt she has been good in all the cute roles she did so far .. but sometimes people are not very ambitious .. and I would rather prefer them to do what they want to instead of unnecessarily compete with someone
