You had one chance to ask him whatever you wanted to. Couldn't you think of "why are you being so nice to me?" or even better, "do you love me?". But no, you had to completely blow your chance and ask him what mattered only immediately,"did you buy me those bangles?"

dont think so.

she thought like a woman in love. You dont ask the guy directly "do you love me?" because no matter what he says you are not sure if your heart will believe it or not.

so you ask questions surrounding his actions. Its his first present for her. If he admits he bought the bangles for her, she will have the first solid proof that their relationship is definitely changing and so forth.

If he sees ' bata nahi' when asked if he bought the bangles, I doubt he will admit he's in love with her😃.
