1. Tell Akash the truth about Shyam, you wont regret it. Its your duty and your responsibility to your new family. Akash is about the only guy who will listen patiently and work with you. Your dignity and self respect on the line, honey

2. Have a conversation with Mamiji, alone and in private. Tell her, you respect her, and that you will never aspire to replace her. Assure her that to you, she is a mother and your lack of funds/dowry etc be not held against you. How bad can she be? She raised a good son after all.

3. Take charge of your life. You are the eldest daughter, live up to your role.

I know CVs will not allow Mami Payal conversation and the Saas-Bahu politics will continue to appeal to the lowest common denominator of viewers
I know Payal will always be the weakling and Khushi, always the savior.

Been thinking the same ! WTH ? Gupta's got a good taste of how bad things cud get when they hide stuff from Raizada's..even when it wasn't really their fault since Akash was supposed to have told them. Imagine how it will be when something as bad Shayam's story comes up and they've hidden it for really no valid reason (in my opinion). Gupta's come across as a family with no money or status but with honor, dignity and self respect and honesty. So now what ?? they compromised all that for what ? to save Anjali's marriage ?? to who ? a cheater and the worse kind of evil ? is that a favor to Anjali or to save Payal's marriage ? In the eyes of the Raizada's their motives wud seem totally selfish.

Good points except point#2.. If I were Paayal I will not discuss anything in private with that lady... she might twist it out of proportion... 😆 No amount of assurance will get rid of Maami's prejudices... she wants a Miss Goa not a Miss Gupta 😆

But yes Paayal did think for a second about Khushi / Shyam engagement... is this the major and shocking twist that everyone including the CVs are hinting at?

To me it appears that the pool side will now be shared by two couples... 😆
