The importance of being Nanhe!

I felt an urge to voice my support of Nanhe's 👍🏼 presence in IPKKND. I read a few posts where some would rather he disappeared or got another love interest, but I feel that they have misconstrued his part in the progress of the ARHI romance.

well said! i agree NK rocks! he is soo needed in d show as at d moment i am sick of every other character in ipkknd except arhi and NK!:))

Yes ASR has to work hard to let himself, Khushi and the world know he wants, needs Khushi and she is only HIS:). NK is so needed here as his personality opens Arnav's eyes as to how to woo/court a woman! Agree Arhi-NK are great scenes.

I can see a scene maybe far away when ASR will thank NK -- how he helped him to reach Khushi in his own way! I would love to see such a scene. CVs are you listening.

Also, La and NK should not be judged similar as the key difference is that La was Arnav's girlfriend/ fiancee so she had every right to be all touchy feely with ASR. NK is just Khushi's buddy with an ingenuous personality similar to her own. Unlike La, who constantly kept draping herself all over Arnav in front of Khushi, the camaraderie between NK and Khushi cannot be seen in the same light. All Khushi could do was watch on helplessly while her heart was periodically crushed in front of her in those 🥺 devastating La-hug n kiss scenes. On the other hand, the one moment, through a lapse of judgement on his part, when NK couldn't resist the view of Khushi's charms remember who😡 was spurred into action to defend his lady love.

NK and Khushi's purely platonic rishtaa will always be that as far as Khushi is concerned. He is her buffer for now while she is puzzling out her intense confrontations with ASR. I think its also necessary as his silliness 🤪and a bit of distance tones down the rabid hatred which can sometimes result from the ARHI knock ons. I dunno about ya'll but like Khushi I thought I was getting acidity as a result of all the heartache then.

Instead, our thwarted Arnie boii is relegated to directing his smoldering looks at Kushi from afar. So unlike previous times when he would step away from the brink of confession and perpetuated the myth ki "frankly my dear, it makes no faraq to me", he is now forced to make an effort to ensure that all and sundry know that Khushi belongs to him❤️. (Case in point - today's scene when he found her, the compulsive tango in front of all at the sangeet and who can forget the kissa of the kisses 😍 )

Lastly, I base myself in the "Arnav must admit his feelings first" camp. Now for ye who protest against this, please listen to my reason. ASR has from the beginning established the hierarchy himself. He has constantly reminded Khushi of the difference in their "Aukaat". Yes he has done some lovely things for Khushi, but this is in spite of how he thinks he should behave. Innately he is a good person and we all know he loves her, but this business man always wants to win. Hence, why he has to lose first in order to win this love match.

So there you have it... let's keep Nandu baba around. I personally find him quite endearing. Lets just watch the fireworks as Arnav fights his personal demons in order to prove to all that Khushi is his without really admitting to it. I find watching him trying to solve this DILemma immensely satisfying. Khushi like most young girls wants to fall in love and eventually married her prince. Arnav is the dark knught who has confused her thoughts and smashed these dreams. She has more to lose as a declaration to the moody object of her affections is liable to get flung back in her face with an addition of an indecent proposal. Once Mr Hyde stabalises into Arnav...then she can breathe easy and love freely. I think Nanhe's presence is the catalyst which can ensure this. 😉

Lets just say I opened this being someone who liked NK but at times does get irritated with him and now I'm commenting applauding your insight into his character👏 - Simply superb buddy!👏 It's made me appreciate his presence in ArHi scenes more - especially the fact that he is Khushi's buffer from Aranav.
