Thanks, it's rare to see an actor on TV make us feel like we did, as we watched it... Whether it's the happy times, the romantic moments or the sad times, Barun and Sanaya take us with them in their journey... that's what I love about the show.

And today, Barun just WOW'ed.

Part II: Aap theek to hain?

He sat there, a lonely figure, his whole being racked with pain... oblivious to his surroundings. The tears streamed down his face... he wanted to scream, give all the anguish and despair raging inside him, a voice... but nothing came...

He sobbed, like a child... burying his face in his left hand.

His right hand still clutched the bangle... unwilling to let it go... His head was spinning now, he felt faint. His hands trembled, and despite the harsh winter winds, his brow was beaded with perspiration.

A light shone in the distance, twinkling like a star... It brought back another memory...

...He was standing by the pool... gazing at the night sky... and he'd heard footsteps in the distance, had instinctively known it was her... and had asked, "Toh kya woh sach mein taare ban jaate hain?"

Her voice, gentle, soothing his ears, and his scarred soul, had enveloped him... "baat sach ya jhoot ki nahin hai... baat yakeen ki hai...hamaaraa dil yeh kehta hai..."

Something came over him... he picked himself up, like a zombie... and started trudging along, back to... he couldn't remember where... but he had to go on, for her sake as much as his...

"Baat yakeen ki hai..." he mumbled to himself... as he continued to walk back to where he thought the car was... he couldn't give up... maybe there was hope?

Another wave of dizziness engulfed him... it had been more than five hours since he last ate... his body was low on sugar...

You need the meds, Arnav. But now's not the time... she needs me more...

Another memory...

of her in the kitchen... him calling her name... "Khushi, mujhe woh..." and she'd asked him to back off... her voice stern, "Naa hi hum aapse baat karna chahte hain... or naa hi hum aapka shakal dekhna chahte hai!"

The sound of a blaring horn, headlights and screeching brakes brought him out of his stupor... caught unawares, he veered towards the shoulder of the road, his hands instinctively breaking his fall...

A sharp pain shot through his right palm... but that didn't matter... he was barely conscious... he could hear footsteps... voices, a male voice calling out for reinforcements... Then a softer, gentler female tone...

She sounded so much like... what was happening to him? He could sense her everywhere...

She was bent over him... Her ochre dupatta fluttered gently in the wind... covering his face... Her hands pulled him up... lifting him like an angel would have... it was the sweetest feeling... he lay in her arms... too tired to think...

He heard her gasp... "Aap... aap theek to hain?!!!" And then, "kuch meetha... jaldi!!!!" she yelled... that was the last thing he heard...

He came to his senses, as soft, long fingers held his chin in position and fed him sugar...

"Aap theek to hain, Arnav ji?" she asked, her face racked with worry and fear.

His eyes fluttered open... "Khushi... tum... haan... par tum?

"Tum theek ho na?" he asked her, as he hugged her hard, as if his life depended on it.
