Director Farah Khan's brother Sajid has reportedly brokered peace between his sister and superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Khan, who has been accused of beating Farah Khan's husband Shirish Kunder at Sanjay Dutt's party, today termed the allegations a "Shakespearean farce."

In a telephonic conversation with news channel CNN-IBN, Sajid said that he brought the two warring parties together in order to resolve the conflict. He said that Farah and Shah Rukh have been friends for 20 years and he wanted them to get rid of the negative air around.

"There were hugs and tears when Farah, I And Shirish went to Mannat to resolve the issue," said Sajid.

He also mentioned that Shah Rukh had been one of the three witnesses when Farah married Kunder and that he was family.

LOL! The joke's on us now. But if the news is true I am a little disappointed. The fight ended too soon...before we could all relish it. But on another note I am glad that Farah's brother helped her patch up with one of her oldest and dearest friends. What else are siblings for? I wish someone had taken a similar initiative in the SRK-Salman war. Bollywood functions would have been a lot more happier place.
