Celebrities to be a part of 'Gyaan Guru'?

If rumours doing the rounds are anything to go by then Imagine TV's new show 'Gyaan Guru', which revolves around the concept of India's traditions and rituals will soon begin to get celebrities as participants.

'Gyaan Guru' is a quiz contest essentially meant for the viewers and tests people's knowledge about cultural traditions and rituals.

The channel selects the contestants by picking entries that are above 14 years and people, who have enough knowledge about India's tradition and cultures.

And according to a source close to the production house the names that are being thought of include Pooja Bedi, Smriti Zubin Irani, Vishal Karwal and Sushant Singh Rajput.

While actor-turned-politician Smriti has been quoted as saying, "Though I haven't received any call for 'Gyaan Guru', if something interesting comes up, I am willing to take it up," Vishal has denied that he has been approached.

Shakti Arora is enjoying hosting Gyaan Guru on Imagine TV!

Last seen in Zee TV's Sanskaar Laxmi, Shakti Arora is currently hosting the reality show Gyaan Guru aired on Imagine TV.

Shakti had earned accolades from all for his clean roles in Star Plus' Tere Liye and Zee's Agle Janam Mohe Bitiya Hi Kijo. After doing some popular fiction shows, Shakti is busy exploring his skills as a host in Siddharth Tewary's Gyaan Guru, which went on air from 23rd January.

Ad it looks like Shakti is extremely happy playing this role. He said, "It was a normal audition call from the production house, which I attended and got selected! It was that simple. This show is on the Indian culture and based on an epic. It will test the contestants about their knowledge on these subjects".

Further, admitting that he is not also a very knowledgeable guy Shakti said that he is learning a lot through this show. "The participants, who are coming in this show, have to go through a knowledge audition. Only after they pass that, can they come for the show. Thank God, I don't have to pass that", said Shakti.

When asked about the response he is getting, he added, "I am getting good feedback and people are liking the format, which surely has novelty factor. I am happy dabbling in anchoring".
