With lots of speculation going on as to who would get the kangans and after reading so many posts regarding it, I have come to infallable conclusion that Gopi would end up having the second pair of kangans.
1. First of all when Ahem was in Koki's room and saw her happy cherishing the memories of kangans with Parag supporting her, he was touched with it and was pondering over something.
2. When he came to the kitchen, he was still thinking something when he asked Gopi to order those kangans.
3. On telling her to order two pairs, as noticed by everyone he saw the very well expected first shyness and then disappointment on knowing that the kangans were not for her.
4. But lastly, when he came to know that the kangans would be delayed by 2 more days, he went into analyzing and thinking mode once again.
My reasons in his support -
1. These days, he's more comfortable with Gopi than with Koki nowadays.
revealed by knocking at koki's door, Koki asking him "koi kaam hai kya" , etc.
2. He doesn't tell Koki about everything now.he doesn't reply to all that koki asks him about (eg. sleeping on sofa, razor cut, applying oil, etc.
3. He's very confident in whatever Gopi does. Turns to her for everything like asking for files, etc.
4. He's grown dependent on Gopi but after the kiss he has realized that he's also in love with her.
5. But one thing that he wants is to see if Gopi feels same for him. He's trying to analyze all her reactions and expressions before he does anything for her like when she rushed to get the ointment after he got razor cut, or when he saw her hand trembling while placing diyas back in plate, etc.
6. So, he wants to make her feel comfortable and not just rush into things so soon.
7. Whatever he said to Gopi that "Baa ne mom ko bangles diye to Jigar bhi Rashi ko bangles de dega"...it actually meant that he would also like to gist her bangles.
8. My only concern is with his ego. It is not letting him to open up for he's scared as well and doesn't want to feel rejection from Gopi so he's taking the backseat for a while now.
9. Only problem with the whole scenario is the delay in arrival of kangans. Had the kangans arrived on time, he would have easily asked mom to give one to Gopi as Jigar gave one to Rashi and Koki would have never minded that as she loves Gopi vau. And Ahem knows that and so he wants mom to give kangans to Gopi . That's the scenario we all would want - To Gopi have kangans...
10. But, 2 days delay means that
a. Koki would get upset and have so many misunderstandings.
b. Gopi would feel perplexed as to why maaji is not in good mood?
c. No direct conversation creating in even more misunderstanding.
d. Koki taunting Ahem indirectly for not bringing kangans for her, might be a possibility.
e. Ahem seeing her mom disturbed gives kangans to her rather than Gopi, only possibility.
f. Koki somehow realizing her mistake in reading Ahem's behaviour after sometime and feels that her son is not accepting his love for Gopi in front of everyone so finally thinks of sending him away to make him realize everything.
g. In case Koki doesn't accept kangans and gives them to Gopi as Rashi also got one, then also she won't know Ahem's real intentions, still sending him away...😆
So i guess i have not discussed in too much of detail...but as so much was written on it i thought to explain my pov. So i believe that Ahem bought second pair of kangans for Gopi only even if they land on her hand or not.
