not sure if the story will proceed after Sati's self-immolation but it would be good if they will continue showing Shiv-Parvati's story too...think it will depend on TRP's and maybe on public demand. hope they will continue and show more stories related to Shiva!

The show being titled Devo Ke dev Mahadev- would progress towards the second story one would assume- as the short blurb states it is about Mahadev turning into a householder- and that will only happen when the Parvati story is shown and it is fine I think if Mouni plays the role- would give a n illustration of the re-birth ( and she is an excellent dancer). I hope they show the Parvati- Shiva story - iti s a beautiful story of penance and prayer and sacrifice. To end with Sati story would be tragic an incomplete statement.

well sati reborn as parvati ..so CVs can cast her as parvati too but ..
personally i love her as sati want to see her as parvati too .lets see hope for best ... currently i am enjoying this track a lot :)

Earlier the show was titled 'Sati' but then the producers changed it to DKDM which implies that they will continue the show to include Parvati...and hopefully Ganesh and Kartikeya too! I hope Mouni does play Parvati too, it'd be weird to then accept someone new so far down the line.

If they do show the story from Parvati, I want the actress for Parvati to be someone other than Mouni. Sati & Parvati had very different personalities, and while Mouni suits Sati to a T, it won't be true about Parvati. Parvati was a much softer & gentler character, so it would be appropriate for her role to be played by a different actress. Maybe Mouni could play Rati, who'd be temporarily widowed when Shiva incinerates Kama for trying to get him to fall for Parvati. Incidentally, they've not shown Rati so far, have they?

Not yet, is Kamdev mentioned anywhere till Sati's story. He was needed only for Parvati's story.
