Hola! What date is today?
The day when India became Republic...
India...
'Where the mind is without fear and the head is held high.Where knowledge is free; Where the world has not been broken up into fragments by narrow domestic walls;Where words come out from the depth of truth;Where tireless striving stretches its arms towards perfection;Where the clear stream of reason has not lost its way into the dreary desert sand of dead habit;Where the mind is lead forward by thee into ever-widening thought and action-Into that heaven of freedom, my Father, let my country awake."
-Rabindranath Tagore

Let's review a bit...
26th January 1950 is one of the most important days in Indian history as it was on this day the constitution of India came into force and India became a truly sovereign state. On this day India became a totally republican unit. The country finally realized the dream of Mahatma Gandhi and the numerous freedom fighters who, fought for and sacrificed their lives for the Independence of their country. So, the 26th of January was decreed a national holiday and has been recognized and celebrated as the Republic Day of India, ever since.

On this day, let's gather together to salute our flag... the tiranga... which still stand high after being attacked seven times.Let's not let the brightness of it get dull. Don't let anger get the best of you. There's always a solution with peace. The peace...non-violence that Our Father of the Nation - Mahatma Gandhi - followed. It's still alive in our hearts somewhere. Bring it forth! Don't be a coward. We have made an image worldwide with much hardships.Gather together to make it strong rather than letting it fall apart.Look up into the sky for the devine souls that gave their lives for us. Let's not let that go to waste. Shine again and rise very high. One voice is enough to have other's follow. Don't be afraid to be that one voice.
Let the flag fly high with PRIDE
Show your love for the Tiranga. And not just today, but everyday. That's what kids are taught at school. We have them recite the national anthem and song each day before classes start. Don't forget that and bring forth the respect.
Wishing you all a Happy Republic Day on behalf of Dil Dosti Dance Dev Team. 🤗
Note: Please avoid making multiple topics on the celebration day and wish here only. Thank you!
