On 26th January, people all over India celebrate the joy of having a democratic constitution. This day is a moment of pride for every Indian and, television actors are no different. We at DailyBhaskar.com tried to know what the TV actors feel about the day.

Pratyusha Banerjee a.k.a Anandi of 'Balika Vadhu' says, "This Republic Day, I have a message for our Country's youth - if they want to make our nation proud and if they want to see a better India, they need to focus on their Education. They should apply their skill set for the betterment of India instead of moving to another country, settling there and helping them grow economically."

At the same time Karan Wahi a.k.a Rohan of 'Kuch Toh Log Kahenge' has a different but interesting plan, he says, "Firstly I would like to wish everyone a very Happy Republic Day. This year, I am looking forward for a holiday (Laughs). No one will be working so I will be relaxing the whole day."

Shashank Vyas a.k.a Jagya of 'Balika Vadhu' recalls his childhood memories. He states, "During my school days, I used to participate in cultural programs and attend flag hoisting ceremonies, but at that time I didn't know the importance of this day. Since I have learnt the significance of R-day, I will participate in the ceremonies more actively and work towards being a responsible citizen."

Sameer Soni a.k.a Kunal of 'Parichay' feels that Republic day is an important day but it's losing the real importance. Sameer explains, "It's a very important day for all Indians but unfortunately it's losing its importance. The new generation should be aware of what pride does this day, hold in an Indian's life. I appeal my audience to be good citizens and be a super power in our own way!"

Meghna Malik a.k.a Ammaji of 'Na Aana Is Des Laado' says, "Republic Day is more like a person having an independent thought and mind. If we need to make our nation a better place for the generations to come, we need to think and see that our thoughts are converted into actions. That is the way forward to make a better India."

We at Dailybhaskar.com would also like to wish its readers a very Happy Republic Day.
