And I like the present also...Varun is a cute kid...and naughty too😉😆...and Mayank couldn't resist himself from asking if she had her fav sandwich😆...Mayank is cute too...😆

@all...here's a short update but I wanted to post one just today so😕

anyways, I'll try to be more regular with my updates now. Hope u'll like it😃

Part 17:

Mayank came in with a big baggage in his hands and walked straight towards Nupur and Varun.

Varun, his and Nupur's son, still a small and a chubby baby of around 4 months. He had the eyes of Nupur, big and symbol of clarity and cutest dimples like Mayank. One glance at the baby and you would definitely smile and head to adore him. As was the case with Mayank and Nupur too, the never seemed to be tired of smiling eversince he was around. Whoever said that all your problems vanish as soon as you look at your own child and Mayank & Nupur never generally had such big problems to ponder over, so it can only be imagined how their cute little complete world had developed happier like never before.

So, as Mayank walked in with a big smile on his face towards Nupur and Varun, he kept aside the bag and picked up Varun, whom Nupur was trying to stop crying further.

Five seconds in his arms and he was quiet abruptly. Mayank wouldn't lose this opportunity to tease Nupur. Varun was a regular kid with Nupur who cried and laughed and did everything else too in his Mom's arms but as soon as he went to Mayank, he just had to smile. Nupur admired the fact though she would obviously feel a bit bad that she didn't have such an impact on Varun, but she also awed this fact and she thought again and again 'who wouldn't smile looking at Mayank'.

Nupur knew what was coming and it came too, "Varun, you know you are like your Mom, you get quiet and keep staring at me when in my arms"

Mayank saw Nupur's face show anger but her cheeks went red clearly.

He gave a short laugh and said, "And you also have red puffy cheeks like your Mom" and kissed his cheeks and looked at Nupur who was darting him with her look.

Mayank held the baby and made it kiss Nupur cheeks and it giggled sweetly, Nupur was left with no option but to melt away at her Husband and Son. She frankly didn't know exactly how to stay angry at the two of them. It was almost impossible for her, but of course she wouldn't ever confess it in front of them and show all her cards wide open and let them have the cake. Nupur, she was afterall.

She took Varun from Mayank's hands and asked, "What's there in these bags?"

Mayank showed her the toys he had brought for Varun and Nupur burst out laughing making him look at her all confused when he asked, "What?"

Nupur replied still laughing, "Which movie have you seen lately?"

Mayank got even more confused and asked, "Movie?"

Nupur played with Varun bringing out series of giggles from him and talked to Varun, "Varun, Daddy doesn't know that you are too small to play with these! Haww! Tell him - I am still cho ch-mall daddie" she talked to Varun like a cute baby and made Varun face Mayank who practically laughed at Mayank.

Mayank glared at the two of them and said, "But He'll grow up naa? And anyways you should have come to select these naa, how would I know, its my first baby after all!" he declared.

Nupur smiled at his cute expressions and said, "As if I am experienced! Anyways, fair enough, he definitely will grow up and play with all these and more. Now thank your Daddy Varun - isn't he just so sweet?"

She talked from her and Varun's side while Varun could only blurt out non-understandable syllables and Mayank hugged Varun and said, "Eagerly awaiting his first words!"

Nupu said in a tone that was understandable to Mayank, "People do say it right that - when babies happen, all the affection of parents is directed towards their child suddenly!"

Mayank pulled her in a hug with his other hand and kissing her said, "That I can prove wrong anytime and you know that!" and winked.

Nupur replied back, "Really? I am not sure what you are talking about? I was talking about me!" and smiled cheekily while Mayank replied back, "Well I don't see that happening either, do I?" and the way he said that in a charming and passionate way that Nupur could only look away to lie, "Perhaps!"

And as he made her look back at him she uttered before she knew, continuing her perhaps with, "Not!"

Mayank smiled and asked, "Okay now, your colleague had called me up and asked when are your joining back, its been almost 5 months of holiday for you already, now it seems hard that you can continue the same job and she asked me to convince you to join as soon as possible"

Nupur smiled and kept playing with Varun and she said, "Oh, it must be Neeta, right?"

Mayank replied back, "Right! So what have you planned Nupur?"

Nupur gave a vague reply, "Planned what?...Hey Varun is getting heavier by day... my baby is getting healthy " tickling him she continued, "A little here, a little there" while he continued laughing whole heartedly.

Mayank asked, a bit incomprehensive of her ignorance, "Your job and career Nupur? I don't have any problem if you wish not to work but if you do then we need to plan about it and your career is important too! We also need to plan out how will we take care of Varun properly when you are at work and me too. Actually I must admit am a bit worried about that fact"

Nupur replied smiling, "Don't freak out my Dear Husband! I'll take care of it all. I know my career is important too like you said and I can't appreciate it more, for you consider it so important. We'll plan it out together, okay? But for now, I just CANNOT let him out of my sight. Not for another 6 months atleast. I can look for another job too and I'll find it I know. I know he wouldn't even remember this time of his life, whether his Mom took care or someone else, but it's as important for him still as it is for me." She completed as she started swinging him in her arm 'Zoop!'

Mayank remembered something and went speechless. It took him a few seconds to come out of that state of mind while Nupur was still busy looking at Varun and when she suddenly looked at Mayank, he smiled genuinely and said, "Nupur, I'll be right beside you in whatever you decide. Varun and I are very very lucky to have you" and he hugged Nupur tight suddenly. Nupur felt as if something is unknown to her, as if he said something unsaid earlier. She looked in his eyes when he pulled out of the hug and that expression was gone suddenly, she wasn't sure if she had seen and felt what she had.
