Since your team reads the feedback the viewers provide, I wanted to give some given the recent episodes, performances, and the anticipated track for the next 6 months.
Firstly, I wanted to say that you have an ace cast. From Brahma to Jaggi, everyone does a fabulous job. And I'm not just saying that. Each one acts as if this is truly real life - no sagging awkward gaps, no over acting, no under playing, no expressionless faces. Fabulous.
Then - the last few episodes have been simply outstanding. Riddhi was amazingly real in her portrayal of a woman scorned yet healed - only coming to surface now. She showed the right mix of hurt, anger, fear, and belief that she will be believed. And what made it all the more real is everyone's reaction - Bauji's holding his head, Devyani's hiding her face, Gaurav/Vidya/Imli/Jaggi's shock, and Uttara's - I knew something was up but let me take a minute look. And of course, Adi's slap. None of it was unreal, nothing unbelievable. It was truly a work of art, and I wanted to congratulate you for delivering it so beautifully to your viewers.
Yesterday's epi - For some reason I liked this better than the previous day's. Brahma's portrayal of a frustrated villain had me amazed at how well Vishawajeet acted it out. He had us believing that inside that man is a little boy who truly believes women are meant to be under than man's feet, just like they're meant to carry and deliver children. As simple as that. He truly had us believing that he believes this is all happening to him coz he went against his own principle of treating women like dirt. If he had just been done with Priya, or had he treated Uttara like dirt, he wouldn't be in this mess right now. I don't know any other villain that can make you think he truly believes that what he's doing is right. This one, almost, had me want to say .. no little kid, it's not that way. Vishwajeet truly did great.
And Uttara's disgust at what she's just discovered - I watched her and his scene multiple times for little nuances. Let me tell you how appreciated little reactions are. When she just stopped breathing and went in double time the moment Brahma admitted he hadn't even slept with her ... wow. She was dying, hanging on his every word, waiting to hear and be proven wrong in her suspicion. A small part of her still loves him.
And lastly - everyone is hating Adi right now. I do too. But that's also in character and consistent with the show. He was the one blind bat in this house. And he was the only one that worshiped BJ and was Devyani's weak link. So it's all good and consistent.
Thank you for giving us such a beautiful masterpiece. This is a ground breaking show, it truly is. You have steered away from the regular love stories, and given us the REAL love stories - Adi and Priya was passion, Vidya truly loved her husband and came here with dreams in her eyes. Uttara fell in love after killing her husband, and Devyani had a rude awakening about the love of her life. Yet they've all stood their grounds in their beliefs, wrong or right.
I request that you continue to give us something just as amazing for the next 6 months. It's a tall order, I know, given that you sped the story up marching to the end on the 25th, and have just now gotten the extension. I know that plays havoc with the story line, but you haven't disappointed us yet, so please don't do so now.
Please don't compromise quality for quantity - keep giving us the Maryada that has been a master piece.
From one of the many Maryada fans.
