Purab dumps Jassi

The stage has been set for Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin's (Sony) high point — Jassi's makeover.

Purab (Sameer Soni) has left Jassi, making her turn back to her good old Armaan Sir (Apoorva Agnihotri).

A down in the dumps Jassi thinks that it's all over.

She feels that because of her appearance, things never go right for her. Armaan Sir prevails upon Jassi to undergo a transformation to help her discover her new self.

With Purab's track over, it also signals the end of Soni's role in this daily serial.

Soni was introduced in March as the new man in Jassi's life. Post-Armaan Sir's engagement with Mallika (Rakshanda Khan), Jassi wanted to get away from Gulmohur House (Armaan's fashion venture) for a while. That's when she bumps into Purab.

According to Tarun Katial of Sony, "The happenings in the current episodes pave the way for Jassi's transformation. She goes back to believing that her looks cannot get her anywhere. It is Armaan who will shatter these beliefs for her."

So when does the metamorphosis happen? The channel is tightlipped, but it is learnt that the countdown will begin next month.

Those tuned in would know that Jassi's folks are unaware that Purab has disappeared from the scene.

They are busy making engagement preparations for Jassi and Purab. Jassi does not know how to tell them that he has gone. Purab's old flame, Meenakshi (Shweta Kwatra), has already humiliated Jassi.

Though in a daze, she finds Armaan Sir walking back into her life with a spanking new offer.

This will lead to a series of events and interactions with Armaan till the makeover happens. We also hear that prior to that there will be a twist in the tale which will propel Jassi towards the transformation.

This has got me thinking that probably T&D had sincerely wanted to change the ending but Sony didn't give the go ahead and probably asked them to keep to the original ending.Someone up 'Sony' loves Armaan and Jassi or else is really in love with the BLF track.

Which might mean it's not T&D but Sony which has created problems for Purab's continuation.The channels have always known to keep a tight watch on their moolah raking serials.

I also think that one of the reasons for Jassi going on a decline for the past six months was because it was only the Purab fans who were left with watching the show.Sony might not have been very happy with that.Hence all this confusion.

I am sad to see Purab go. 😭 I am usually pretty cynical of
Jassi, but poor thing. What a heart break! He practically left
her at the alter.

My hope is that with Purab's exit, JJKN starts afresh and
lightens up a bit. The story lines have been dragging. They
need to keep the story lines shorter.

This is ridiculous...I mean..the way they get rid of characters on the show. After setting an image of a "all around nice guy who sincerely loves Jassi for all that she is/isn't", they make him disappear based on a sudden false epiphany he has about their relationship. This outcome was onset by unwelcomed lectures from Meenakshi???? So basically, she knows Jassi better than Purab does...isn't that what the writers are saying. Meenakshi meets Jassi and in 2 weeks has not only sparked differences but has managed to split Jassi and Purab up. Incredible. Don't Jassi and Purab owe it to the viewers to have a mutual break-up at the very least??? This is silly in my opinion.

I disagree I think Purab will come back!! Jassi cant go with Arman he is so stupid!! He was using Jassi For his own good!! Purab has a heart of gold he is the only one who deserves Jassi!!!😭

JJKn was starting to get boring before purab entered the scean, and saved the show!!🤢
