Most of the Hindi films are not great quality:Emra

Emraan Anwar Hashmi is quite unlike the sexy, bad boy image he portrays on screen! In real, he sounds straightforward about his career, unapologetic about his confidence. The whole world keeps asking him about his sexy, bay boy, serial-kisser image and whether any image-change is in order. But he feels blessed that he has uncle Mahesh Bhatt.

The actor who has a Muslim father and a Catholic mother belongs to Bombay and is amazed that even after doing so many films with intimate scenes, they are still hyped and given a shock value. "I think our masses will never come to terms with intimate scenes however, well or professionally they are shown. We can never have the kind-of-attitude west has?" Emraan feels Bollywood follows the herd mentality. So when you quiz him on the quality of films he surprises us when he says that he never watches films, which does not feature him. "Doesn't it sound like asking the mirror, how good I am," he laughs. "Most of the films made in the industry are trash. So I don't remember, which film I last watched?"

Emraan is eligible yet to receive a number of indecent proposals. "I am not saying anything, they can't even go on record, they are soooindecent." On a parting note we ask him about his co-stars taking the credit for his films, someone like a Mallika Sherawat? "Success of a film is team effort so if some actor wants to be delusional and blabber around, what can I do," he signs off.
