Always good to hear from you - and yes, the front page is messed up for everyone I guess. No idea why, but like I told Mini, if I get annoyed enough I may make a new thread - I'd just hate to spam the forum with repeat threads in general.

And stalking is quite okay 😆 It would be nice if it was visible stalking though (like tab) just to know people are around here 😳 Watch Piyu for example, she stalks by 'liking' the whole forum 😆

You can always break the silence to ask for GK scene uploads of course - like anything random from the whole Pandora's box! ☺️

Okay peeps, new scene uploads for today. Just so you know I'm going to edit my long essay on Page 1 and replace it with an index of the vid uploads on this thread. Name wise. So that it can become your easy one stop for following the vid uploads of GK HD scenes done hereafter.

Another infamous landmark confrontation between GK. Irate from weeks of the exhausting up and down in his equation with Gulaal, Kesar finally snaps.

Confronts her with all the questions that have crowded his mind and life for a decade now. Questions he has wanted answers to, but feared getting answers for just as much - afraid of uncovering a dark truth that he already assumes anyway - that Gulaal has betrayed him, her Kesar.

The perpetually prevalent paradox in Kesar's nature - because on the one hand he has singularly hated on her for her betrayal; on the other side he wants answer to the one big question - whether she has betrayed him,. and why?! The epic 'kyun' of his dilemma.

Of course, Gulaal throws a googly at him with her equally epic 'koi haq nahin hai tujhe' - and all his well built line of argument and logic and questioning goes awry in a second. All Kesar can comprehend anymore is the fact that Gulaal has bereaved him of his most priceless possession - his haq on her - which as he later tells her, he has assumed from the day she entered his life. main shuru se tujhpe apna haq samjhta aaya hun... Sigh.

Highlight of this scene IMO is the fact that Gulaal (almost unintentionally) accomplishes two feats with one declaration. Her withdrawal of haq from Kesar not only puts an abrupt halt to his questions - and never after this sequence do we find Kesar going back to her with his questions, despite her extremely hurtful snub something takes a back seat in him and he simply lets go of the Vasant murder and GD love angle mystery altogether. The second thing that Gulaal accomplishes - without realizing she would, lol! - is provoking Kesar into jumping to that totally out of line decision to marry Talli. How ironic that her pleas and cries and cajoling from just the evening before (the odhni confrontation) does not deter him from his I will not marry Talli decision, but what does is the impact of his loss of haq on her!

She pleads with him and he denies her. She walks out on him, and he complies 😲 - oh Kesuda, who can fathom your heart?! 😆

Okay - so good news is I fixed Page 1. It's no longer being a jackass out of proportion. There was some glitch with the line of vids, so I divided the lot and posted some here on Page 2 - we have a disciplined Page 1 now

Hi Jzee,

Now when I watch these scenes, I was thinking whether gulaal ever thought abt the pain which kesar underwent for all those 10 years. The letters were only hope but in the show, we never got gulaal's proper reaction to them….like what she felt when she came to know that kesar knew this secret since as a child and was burning inside..we can say during later stage when kesar openly accuses dushyant we get her reaction..but still it was not enough…I somewhere wanted to see how she reacts abt kesar's 10 yr long ordeal..am I missing something which they showed in the letter scene ?

@Nur - 😆 Well not all the way up there with the usual top rung of fans, but I'm happily tolerant of cliche when it comes with an expiry date and a finite story line ... also, it helps if the lead hero looks good and acts decently. Although, unlike the general fan opinion, I'm not much for Mahira's acting. And I don't like the kid they got on board either. But well. It's something to watch on a Saturday! 😆

@ Nithya - What a well raised point there 👏 Absolutely, I have to admit I've seen these scenes so many times that sometimes I forget the obvious that occurred to me the first time, but you nailed it Nithya. The letters - as has been the grudge of many Gulaal fans - did meet somewhat of an anti climax. I feel like they might have left it as a suspended track with potential for future at that point, but then the close did end earlier than I suspect they had expected to, so they didn't quite get around to bringing the letters to fore again. At this particular point, in this scene I feel like the only justification is that Gulaal was quite, quite, out of her wildest imagination flabbergasted by the whole twist of events in the mere span of some 24 hours. The whole KT wedding fiasco, followed by the Panchayat followed by the love confession - and finally the letters. It's like by the time she actually made it to reading the letters, she'd been repeated treated to one shock after the other, so that her only reaction to all of them in a common way became to duck them, and play the ostrich. I'm going to guess that reading those letters at this point when she had so much else to stomach was like this extra thing she had to fight - without thinking of what why when and how. She lost her usual perception and logic, or I dunno, poise of dealing with problems - because let's be fair to her, she was only human and there was just far too much going on for her.

Which makes me go back to what I said before - I feel like the CVs might have had future plans to bring the letters up again. But when they were wrapping up the show, there was hardly enough time to tie all the priority strings. Just like his letters, there was her diary which never came up - and even though she verbally told him her side of the story, one can imagine how toned down it was a decade down the line when she had been through quite a few more hell and back times - as opposed to when she must have written those daily entries, with only a darkness lying over her future. It would have been something to watch Kesar read her diary, and Gulaal bring up the content of his letters once again... but well!

Wow discussion on those infamous letters…..I had so much expectations of them but all in vain……after all whatever little time was left for the show had to be devoted tying up loose end for show's main attraction Talli and her beloved MIL……I so hated each and every moment they were in frame at expense of GK

Jzee you are right in 24 hours span she had to deal with lot and she was allowed to be human for a change but I did expect that acknowledgment of pain that he went through for 10 years after knowing the biggest secret of her life at a very tender age and he was denied any explanation when he did manage the courage to pose the question to her , there she chose to relieve him of any haq to query her of any doing and there she was after his engagement whingeing and whining about how she made biggest decision of his life based on same haq she chose to deny him having on her….

Sorry about ramble but I think this was something that needed proper closure which was compromised for something completely unnecessary and unwanted……
