👏 Ably put. This was the question I wanted answered after today's episode. Ahem did partially answer my concerns.. I am heartened by the fact that he did not shout at Gopi for his loss. Also, his walking away showed that he still is basically the same Ahem Modi who hates coming second in anything but now he is a man who is able to control his anger at times when the mistake is made unknowingly.
This contrasts to the day when Gopi unknowingly gave the wrong medicines to Mani.. He had a similar tete' with her as she had impressed him then by getting the gifts for his mother and dad on their anniversary. That day he did not think twice before he called her a gawar for her mistake.

Today showed that he is changed.. He is still a man of perfection and expects others to be perfect. But still like for his mom, he is now ready to make concessions for Gopi.

The bigger question is that during dinner when his mom realizes that the pigeon is inside the house, what would Ahem do if Gopi is blamed? Will he again be angry but control it or will he defend her.
His expression in the precap showed that he was frightened for her.. or rather felt guilty with her as he thinks it is Gopi who got the pigeon in the house. So tomorrow may give us a better idea of his change..

Thanks, I was thinking he did look guilty and what will he do, will he protect her as she protected him by quickly clarifying to Koki that it was her fault and he wasn't to be blamed. It will be an interesting episode. As you said he has changed, and we see this more and more.

Ok I am back, I just watched the beginning and skipped over rest of the nonsense.

I agree with you he is definitely not mad at her, most especially knowing how she feels about hurting anything unnecessarily.

It seems he forgot all about the competition and was having fun until Koki reminded him that they have to win by hook or crook. He was more relaxed before this, and even forgot the kite after Baa's compliment regarding Gopi. After this it was more intense and he was mad when his kite was cut.

I think he is more upset because she jumped in and took the blame. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place for the moment. He wants to please his mom and Gopi both, but as we have mentioned before he has yet to achieve the balance between the two of them.

He is still not there yet, because he is still in denial of his feelings for Gopi. He fell back on the best thing he knew and walked away, because at this point he couldn't even assure her that he would talk to his mom and make her understand.

I hate that no one noticed how Hiten's kite was cut in the end or no one was there when the injured pigeon was discovered, because by the time the truth is discovered I believe everyone will just say let it go, and may not have the competition at all.

But I think Ahem needed this wake up call also. He needs to realize that Gopi is back on her feet and moving around, doing more things now, and once again in her innocence or her inability to see anyone hurt she will make mistakes that other people, including himself, won't be able to tolerate at times. Is he willing to except her as she is? Will this bring another realization of her innocence and pure heart for him?

After this incident he will be left many questions in his mind, and he may either come closer or create distance is what we have to wait for.

Nice analysis swasthi...I don't think koki is gonna know about pigeon becuase she will be busy in blasting rashi..i have got problem with aham's atitude..He is a grown up man but every time he saw gopi, he is acting weird and i can't understand is this the same man who was having connection with anita? At that time he was never awkward or anything but now, he is acting childish especially in front of koki..That's why koki have nagging doubts whether she have lost her son or not..Aham should behave like a normal person then koki will not take his action as strange...Anyways, nice analysis...swasthi...
