Ahem and love: sunken heart

Ahem was in top form and having a rollicking time flying his kite, telling Gopi to loosen the string. His mum wanted him to win, she had stressed this and he accepted her command. Baa confirmed that with Gopi by his side he would win. This distracted him until Gopi reminded him of his is task.
Then his string cut and he lost. He expected the onslaught to come from his mum. While attempting to explain what happened, Gopi took the blame and explained.
The kite competition was all about winning for the Modi's, especially for Kokila. He looked on at Gopi blaming herself and his eyes and body attempted to follow his mum into the house to explain but he was frozen in his place. He found himself between the devil and the deep sea unsure what to do, only to walk away from Gopi.
He could have thought just how quick she was in taking the blame and being honest. This would have pained him much as one, he knew that she is quick to take the blame for anything regardless of the maker of it, and two, that she did remind him of the previous year's incident even though he disregarded it, and three, just earlier in the day he watched her caring nature to the pigeon.
He wants to be open with his mum and keep her feeling that she still matters. His new found interest in Gopi is finding him in these awkward situations with his mum. For him it is not about winning Gopi and losing his mum in his quest for love. He needs and wants to make his middle ground and cater for both of them. But how?
Will the truth of the pigeon's injury be told to all allowing Koki to make sense of the situation and let Savita know, bringing on a second kite competition? Or will it be something else?

the cv's did lead us to believe from Rashi noticing the glass on the green string that Hiten used...that possibly maybe a second competition is in the offing but being as Parag's kite is still flying and what Chirag said yesterday about this being for youngsters, I thought perhaps Parag might be the saviour of the Modi's for once, I know very unlikely, he doesn't really have a competitive nature, and his just doing it for fun.

I suppose with the makar sakranti competition, yesterday had a lot of Goham scenes today it was mostly RaJi, but Aham was upset but was at the same time didn't turn an angry face to Gopi, so it's good, we will have to wait and see what will happen where as the competition is concerned to know what his going to say to her.

Meanwhile the pigeon is in the house and I guess that's the next hatke track 😛

that was a great analysis swasthi!!!

However don't you think that Ahem has wanted to win like Koki. He does care I think but he understood that the life of the pigeon is more important than winning this game. And I am sure, if Koki learns about the glass on the string she will go for a rematch and Ahem will win that for sure 😊

Thanx Swasthi...glad you were able to find a pleasant story in the madness of today's episode and share it with us...What do you think would have happened if he had lost the match while gawking at Gopi after Baa's comment...more likely would Koki's reaction have been worse

Kokila won't listen to anything. The poor bird was in touble. Just because they don't say anything doesn't mean they don't have feelings. What gopi did was to save the pigeon.
Savita and her family didn't win as the pigeon had already cut the string of the kite. I feel that there should be another competition.

Res.

Hey Swasthi! This makes me want to watch today's episode.

Will come back to comment after watching.

*Edited*

Ok I am back, I just watched the beginning and skipped over rest of the nonsense.

I agree with you he is definitely not mad at her, most especially knowing how she feels about hurting anything unnecessarily.

It seems he forgot all about the competition and was having fun until Koki reminded him that they have to win by hook or crook. He was more relaxed before this, and even forgot the kite after Baa's compliment regarding Gopi. After this it was more intense and he was mad when his kite was cut.

I think he is more upset because she jumped in and took the blame. He is stuck between a rock and a hard place for the moment. He wants to please his mom and Gopi both, but as we have mentioned before he has yet to achieve the balance between the two of them.

He is still not there yet, because he is still in denial of his feelings for Gopi. He fell back on the best thing he knew and walked away, because at this point he couldn't even assure her that he would talk to his mom and make her understand.

I hate that no one noticed how Hiten's kite was cut in the end or no one was there when the injured pigeon was discovered, because by the time the truth is discovered I believe everyone will just say let it go, and may not have the competition at all.

But I think Ahem needed this wake up call also. He needs to realize that Gopi is back on her feet and moving around, doing more things now, and once again in her innocence or her inability to see anyone hurt she will make mistakes that other people, including himself, won't be able to tolerate at times. Is he willing to except her as she is? Will this bring another realization of her innocence and pure heart for him?

After this incident he will be left many questions in his mind, and he may either come closer or create distance is what we have to wait for.
