Koki is unhappy with GoHam but not for the reasons you think.

Firstly, Koki is not privvy to the little glances, shyness, conversation and indeed the budding romance of Aham and Gopi.

What she does see is the dil she has come to care about as a mother at risk of being heart-broken - all over again - by her no good son.

She sees her son who is usually the level-headed businessman now in cahoots with the wife he "despises". But what are they in cahoots about? Certainly not their relationship which to her shows no signs of improvement. But it seems to involve a certain Rat. Now this Rat has had an unfair and unwelcome influence over her sister. And indeed the sister seems blind to the Rats numerous faults.

And then today in the cinema, she glances at her son and dil. And her son has his arms folded and his wife is almost cringing into her chair and looking like she wants the earth to open up and swallow her. The two look as distant from each other as the earth and the moon.

Now what on earth is poor Koki supposed to think?

Oh my son and dil are falling on love? No ways. She has not seen the signs we have. Indeed the two have gone about very secretively hiding everything from her.

And so Koki is on a mission. Indeed she is a mother on a mission. Protect her child at any cost. Nope the child is not Aham. It's Gopi!

So I say... Go Koki! 👍🏼

Oh yeah. Something tells me Koki will shortly be sending Aham away. Absence does make the heart grow fonder and she will be counting on this. Think of it as a test. A test for Aham!
