Hi Friends,

Thank you so much for your support and comments. I am sorry I have not responded individually but I want to highlight two feedbacks -

Someone mentioned that why Farida Jalal and not Reema Lagoo. Well I was visualizing someone like the role Farida had in DDLJ. Going forward, there will be need of some advice and counseling for Geet and somehow I picturised the scene from DDLJ where Farida talks to Kajol and asks her to forget SRK. It kind of stuck in my head and so I used Farida.

Also, Spvd mentioned about Vicky being 7 year old meaning Dev and Meera had baby when they were 20. Well this was intentional and plays not a big but small role in the story going forward.

So without further ado, here is the first chapter. Please leave me detailed comments. Some of you are familiar with my writing style and some not. But your comments will definitely help me improve and will help you in getting a better reading experience. So don't mince your words. Do let me know what not works even if you don't write what does.

Chapter 1

"RAGE"…"RAGE"…."RAGE"

Hundreds of people shouted and chanted the name like a mantra. 20 bikes stood in a row with the defendant from last race in first position.

Loudspeaker burst out as bikers revved up their bikes at the starting line "Welcome friends to the 34^th stunt race hosted by Delhi Bike Club. Starting position is taken by "RAGE", winner of last year race.

Wishing all the participants all the best as they compete for the grand prize after two laps across the track best known as "Dare Devil's path"

Two people with helmets on each bike zoomed around the dusty track with 4 hurdle placed on the track. The first one was simple enough, a pole at height of 3 feet and crowd booed as three teams crashed doing the wheeley to clear the pole.

RAGE still continued in the first position leading the race. Second hurdle comprised of picking up a flag atop an 8 feet pole. Pillion riders balanced themselves on the back seat as they pulled the flags out.

Third hurdle was a ring of fire and bikes jumped out of the ring. Only 4 bikes still remained in the race after this round. People hooted and shouted in frenzy as the bikes raced to a slope and jumped off the height of 20 feet. Points were awarded for cartwheels and safe landing. Only two bikes landed safely with "RAGE" as clear winners as they managed 2 cartwheels in the air.

Crowd went berserk as bikes took their positions again at the starting line switching the pillion riders and drivers. "RAGE" being the clear favorites by now whizzed through the second lap with similar result.

Amidst the crowd repeating their name in reverence, "RAGE" took their position on the podium to take their award. They removed the helmets and crowed applauded the only brother-sister and the only beautiful girl standing on stage in stretched black leather. Rahul popped the champagne out as Geet held the cup high in pure exhilaration.

Person 1 gawked at the beautiful girl "It is a girl, "RAGE" comprises of a girl"

Person 2 laughed "Looks like this is your first time. That is Geet, the best biker and bike engineer in whole of Delhi. "RAGE" stands for RAhul and GEet"

New spectators just looked in awe as old ones cheered Geet as she took the champagne from Rahul and had a swig. Crowd yelled with her as she yelled showing off the trophy around the ground.

Two Hours later

"Shhh…kitna shor macha raha hai tu Rahul….Mummy ne pakad lena hai"

"Main kahan shor kar raha hoon…tape ki to tere muh ko zaroorat hai"

"Rahul!!!"

"Geet!!!"

They both suddenly kept fingers on their lips "Shhh!!!"

They tiptoed through the dark living area. Both heaved a sigh of relief as they reached the stairs. Geet gave out a small giggle as she stepped on the stairs.

Suddenly the whole place was illuminated by bright lights with Mohinder Handa standing with his hands folded on the chest.

Mohinder - "Kahan se aa rahe ho janab. Aur yeh tumhaare kapde itne gande aur muddy kyon hain?"

Rahul – "Emmm…Dad woh…Dad"

Geet – "Off o pyaare papa, aapko humari kitni fikar hai"

Geet moved ahead and grabbed her dad's shoulder.

"Kuch nahi hua hai papa…woh Rahul na akele bike drive karne mein dar raha tha. Raat jo hagyi hai na. So he just asked me to accompany him. Aur dekho ullu ne mujhe gira bhi diya. Woh to acha hua mujhe chot nahi lagi…hmmm"

Rahul just slapped his forehead "Nautanki"

Mohinder - "Kya….kahin chot toh nahi lagi beta"

Geet stifled a yawn – "Nahi papa…bas thoda dard ho raha hai…and I am so tired. Main jaa ke so jaaon…kal Ramtekri bhi jaana hai na"

Mohinder nodded his head and lovingly caressed her head, even as he glared at Rahul.

Rahul just gulped his saliva – "Main bhi chalta hoon dad"

Saying this they both rushed up the stairs almost colliding with their mother standing at the top in her red nighty.

"Ho gaya, baap beti ka natak khatam."

Mohinder – "Rano ji, app bhi kaisi baat kar rahi hain"

Rano – "Haan Haan, main to pagal hoon…kuch samakjhti hi nahi. Rahne do aapka yeh makhaan."

She looked sternly at Geet – "Aur tum, girne peh yeh trophy mili hai"

Saying this, she removed the trophy from Rahul backpack.

Both Geet and Rahul looked down waiting for their mother to erupt.

Rano – "Dekh liya aapne…aur chadao apni laadli ko sir pe….kitni baar samjhaya hai isse, agar koi accident waccident ho gaya to ki hona hai iska"

Mohinder raised his hand to stop his wife – "Shubh Shubh bolo Rano ji…kuch nahi hona hai hamari pari ko. Aur usne kaha na use kahi chot nahi lagi. Bachi hai abhi"

Rano was exasperated – "bachi…kis angle se yeh aapko bachi lagti hai"

Geet and Rahul jumped on their mom and hugged her tight – "Har angle se mom…maan jao na"

Rano patted them off – "Hato Nalaykon….mujhe ganda kar diya, abhi naha ke aayi hoon"

They both just laughed and kissed their mom - "Pyaari mumma, pyaari mumma maan jao …chodo bhi yeh rusa rusi…hans ke dhikao…pyaari mumma pyaari mumma maan jao"

Rano just rolled her eyes and gave both of them a small smile. They both shouted – "Yeah!!!" and ran to their room with Rano shouting after them – "This is last time…samjhe tum dono"

Mohinder laughed and hugged Rano – "Rano ji…aap jab gussa karti ho na bahut sexy lagti ho"

Rano just slapped his "Sharam karo tusi…jawan bache hain ghar mein"

Geet shouted from her room "Koi gal na mummy….jawan hai tabhi to pata hain kaise aayein hain is duniya mein"

Rahul just laughed as Rano got red and Mohinder shouted "chup kar besharam…aur kal 6:00 baje uth jaana….janmashtmi ke liye Raamtekri jaana hai"

Rano just made a face "Kaun karega is ladki se shaadi"

Rahul shouted from his room "Oh come on Mom, aapne Dil to pagal hai nahi dekhi kya. Madhuri ne bataya toh tha "Kahi na Kahi…koi na koi…har kissike liye bana hai"

Rano and Mohinder just shook their heads and walked to their room hearing Geet singing on top of her voice "Mere Khwabon mein jo aaye…aake mujhe ched jaaye…use se kaho kabhi samne toh aaye"
