Ialways wanted to act.I am happiest when facing the camera, says television actress Prerna Wanvari.Currently seen in the serial,Parichay,this Lokhandwala resident admits that she is very happy with way her career is shaping up.
Wanvari plays Sameer Sonis younger sister,Ravina.My role is a strong one.It is positive but also has some grey shades.This way,I get to experiment and explore as an actor.I can reveal my talent and also exploit my abilities.
The young lady who started her career with Bandini,says,That was a training ground for me.I played daughter to Ronit Roy.Initially,I was nervous but soon I felt in love with the camera.
And this love affair comes naturally to her.Acting is her genes,with actress-mother,Gayatri Gauri,and script-writer-media-personality dad,Anil Wanvari.Obviously,shes never attended acting class,For me,acting is all about reactions.I have learnt only by facing the camera and improvising.And my parents have always been supportive of my career.
In short span that she has been around,she has been lucky to bag a variety of roles across various genres.In Sapna Babul Ka Biddai,she did a negative role.Ko Ane Ko Hai was a spooky horror show as was Anhoniyo Ka Andhera.
Dance is a passion for this psychology graduate and she has trained with Terence Lewis in contemporary as well as studied kathak.She has also done the show Naachle Ve with Saroj Khan and recently reached the grand finale of Season 3,Saroji is a great teacher.She rectifies mistakes perfectly.Its an honour to learn from her.
Obviously,its dance that helps her stay fit.It is an excellent form of exercise.It adds to my flexibility, says the girl who also regularly goes for acupuncture to help her relax and feel energized.I also follow my kriya routine, she adds.
The spirituality shows in her positive attitude to life.Each moment is vital.I dont dwell in the past.Every morning is a fresh beginning.The future and the past are irrelevant, states the actress.

The Lokhandwala lady


Wanvari has been a Lokhandwala resident for the last ten years.This area is buzzing with activity during the day and night.I love it here.
The shopping malls,multiplexes and the market are all a joy for her.I love to jog at the Joggers Park on the back road of Lokhandwala and enjoy eating frankies at Bread Kraft and also food at Pop Tates.Besides,I like to shop from Vintage Earth.
To top all this,the fact that its a comfortable and safe place is what makes Lokhandwala home for this young lady.
