A page from the personal diary of Sharhaan Singh

For any person, childhood is special and same was the case with me. And my childhood was indeed fun filled. We had a big bungalow back home in Patiala. And I utilized the backyard, to play cricket and keep my pets. And I had many pets; I had dogs, guinea pigs, ducks, rabbits and different kinds of birds. So my house used to be full of animals.

And I was just too passionate about cricket, so I used to play the game all day long. In fact, there's something interesting I did, back then. While the world is witnessing IPL right now, I had something similar 15 years ago. I used to organize cricket matches. To make sure that I won, I would pay the best cricketers hundred rupees to play for my team. And it was always worth putting in the money as I would manage to win the game and take away the cash prize.

And then I came up with another idea, since my house became a zoo with so many animals. I sold the newborns of the animals to my friends who wanted to have pets. I even used to save some amount out of my pocket money for my cricket kit.

But now I am just too busy with my acting career. I just miss those days.
