And I tell you..and I know, I am going to attract lots of mojris and slapathons...But the truth remains that the best of Kesar Gulaal scenes came when there was a Kabaab mein haddi between them...I mean today inspite of the high mighty attitude of the terrorist...you actually bless her for leaving us in peace *whew*...but then we actually dont have them in exclusivity...
We get Reva right in the middle...
Though you have to like Reva for putting Gulaal's honour first, and being happy that Kesar is back to his Gulaal mode...unlike asking him 'Kesar Kesar will you be beating the goons the same way, if they talked nonsense about me😡'...
Ah well...Again me roaming around the both of them...But you have to give it to them for that...The way they are...Just the way they are...and an open acknowledgement of the same by all...
Like JK sums it up beautifully...when the two of them are together...nobody would know what is going on till they decide to come out with it😳...So exclusive were they...and I guess it was because of fact that ...over and above everything...both loved with everything they had...with the last fibre of their being...
And it was amazing how they both underwent the changes..almost in the same sequence...
When Kesar turned his back towards Gulaal ...Gulaal tried everything to make him relent...but he won't budge ...and then it was Gulaal who turned into that wall and Kesar did everything to make her relent...but nothing would have penetrated into her skull...
Both the times it was the that eternal fear of losing each other that made them come together...
Right now it is Kesar saying sorry...Via Reva...and I just saw the chhotu Kesar and Gulaal scene...where Kesar is talking to her via Cow...and Gulaal is doing the same...waise Reva and cow...not much difference😆...
No offence...What I meant was she was as docile as a cow.😛
And Gulaal understands that, that sorry...and you can see that in her eyes...her initial taken aback expression when he says sorry (waise on totally offhand comment... I actually was a bit surprised at the use of sorry instead of a hindi word...but I think,..they needed to show a bit of 'shehri' touch for Kesar) ...
and the way he says 'Kyun ki kucch logon ko ye pasand nahi aaya'...He apologized for doing something which she did not like...eventhough he still believed that he had done the right thing...Sorry for not being apologetic the day before when she had come to tell him he was wrong...
and not only for that...Sorry for everything that he had done and hurt people...
As simple as that...He read it, rolled it and holed it...no keeping back, not backgrounds, no beating around the bush...no ornamentary languages and no defence...
Pure, simple and direct...Just like Kesar himself!
And that is why it had such an impact na...you could see the tears brimming in Gulaal's eyes...as the implication of that one sentence seeps in...but she cannot rejoice at that na...however glad she might be that he protected her honour and is sorry for the things he did, she had to make him understand that his actions had affected so many lives...
Oh I love love the look he gives Reva...That was an awesome stare...
He finally realizes the reason behind Gulaal's apprehensions and meaning of how his actions are harming people...
but what I found endearing is that without realizing total consequences...he had gone there to pay for the medical bills...Just because she told him...
His trust and that complete dependency returning...
Kesar at Reva's place...I love how Revji treats Kesar...with equal respect and love...and not as that bratty child who used to come during Vasant and be afraid of darkness...Pooba ofcourse treats him as Gulaal's ticket to future happiness..but Reva is so lucky to have them both as PILs...
And Yogesh and Kesar's confrontation...Bang Yogesh's head on the wall and get over with it Kesuda...but ofcourse he doesnot ...Ek taraf saari duniya ki sagaai and dusri taraf joru ka bhai😛
How could he have done that...but the way he tells Revji not to apologize on Yogesh's behalf...too adoring that is...
The basic goodness of MB brewing up and getting uncovered from the years of rust of anger and hatred...and we find the original loving and affectionate heart of Kesar😳
