Honestly, if Sahil is in love w/ Ishu, than that's an open & shut case for me - I don't think Mahi belongs in it at all, no matter what Vidya may think. If Mahi did step aside for Ishu, she'd actually be doing the right thing - I don't want Mahi to marry Sahil if he loves Ishu more, no matter that Mahi may be a better girl than Ishu. Dadi belongs to both of them, and so I hope she finds out the truth about Sahil's desire, so that she can make the right call here, and look for another guy for Mahi. And Mahi doesn't need to feel like a loser just b'cos Ishu gets married first.

Incidentally, this is the reverse situation of Kashi, where Janaat previously acted. There, when the leap happened and Janaat's role of Kashi was taken over by Melanie Pais, her future character was willing to sacrifice her love to her childhood friend Vijayanti, who @ the last episode realized what the guy wanted, and ensured that the right 2 people got engaged. Here, the situation is somewhat different - Janaat's future character is the one taking the guy, but this time, the guy is in love w/ her, not w/ Mahi.

The other thing - since they were anyway doing a leap, why couldn't they just get 2 guys, and then have a mystery about which girl will end up w/ who, instead of this boring triangle business?

I wonder whether people are supporting Mahi to marry Sahil now, given that he's clearly said he loves Ishu. If they do, I'd be interested to see why.
