Before you start venting out your anger on me by reading the heading, please just hear me out once.😊
Most of the fans are trying to get gurti back. Its a wonderful idea and trust me, i too have been sending countless emails.
But let us sit back and think a little! Just because we want gurti back are you prepared to see them together in any serial come what may like a saas bahu saga one?
We fell deeply in love with Gurmeet and Drashti while they played the characters of Maan SIngh Khurana and Geet Handa. Will we be able to see them in any other role just for our satisfaction? I definetely would not.
If they are back together they should be back only as Maan and Geet in Geet season 2 or else they shouldnt be. I've seen numerous fans requesting Zee tv to keep gurti in whatever new show that is. By the storyline itself i feel that the story is going to be a sad one. If Gurti come together in such drama, the audience will gradually get bored of them and then we can forget season 2.
One more point i wanted to make is, why the hurry for season 2? Cant we give the makers a little time to think of a strong storyline before launching the season 2? Geet season 2 will be back for sure and we all know it in our hearts.
The channels only indulge in activities in which they can reap thier profits and Gurti together will take any channel to new heights so dont you think all the channels are thinking about them?
All the more, the more the wait, the more will be the interest. If the season 2 comes immediately, the audience who left watching the serial will not watch again, whereas if it comes after some time, everybody will be curious to know the new love story between Geet and Maan.
So my humble request is to fight for Gurti as Maan and Geet in Geet season 2 and not just any characters in any serial. I hope atleast some people agree with me. And if i've hurt anybody's sentiments, my sincere apologies.😊
