Triptii Dimri rings in Christmas with Sam Merchant, gives fans a peek into her festive celebration

Bollywood stars welcomed Christmas 2025 with celebrations and shared glimpses of their festivities on social media. Triptii Dimri joined in the merriment, spending the day with her loved ones, including her rumoured boyfriend Sam Merchant. The actress treated fans to photos and videos from her Christmas celebrations, capturing the warmth and joy of the occasion.

On Friday, Triptii Dimri posted a series of pictures and videos on Instagram. One image shows her arranging a table set for a Christmas feast, complete with food, candles, and floral decorations. In another clip, she is seen cutting a cake while Sam Merchant claps alongside other guests. A separate photo shows Triptii posing with Sam and friends. The actress wore a red top with baggy denim jeans, while Sam opted for a maroon shirt paired with jeans. Triptii captioned the post, “Very merry…very happy,” giving fans a glimpse into her festive mood.

Triptii Dimri and Sam Merchant have been linked in dating rumours for some time. Reports suggest that the actress began seeing Sam after her rumoured breakup with Karnesh Ssharma, Anushka Sharma’s brother, in December 2022. Neither Triptii nor Sam have publicly confirmed their relationship, but their appearances together often spark speculation. In August, the pair was spotted at Mumbai airport, with Sam reportedly dropping Triptii off, which drew attention on social media about the status of their relationship.

Professionally, Triptii is gearing up for Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s upcoming film Spirit alongside Prabhas. She replaced Deepika Padukone after the latter exited the project. In May, the director officially welcomed Triptii on board, sharing a poster and writing, “The female lead for my film is now official :-)”

Triptii will also appear in Vishal Bhardwaj’s O’ Romeo, marking her first collaboration with Shahid Kapoor. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film also stars Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, and Farida Jalal, with a special appearance by Disha Patani.
