Detailed Update – 23 June 2006
The episode starts with Jai looking earnestly and wistfully at Bani and thinking about their last night, while Bani blushes crimson and red under his observation. She then gives him a glowing smile and leaves the place and goes away. Jai keeps on pondering about his relation with Bani and determines that he will help her and set her free, so that she can marry someone she loves and lead a happy life 😕(the biggest duffer on earth, Jai, you are – you are actually planning to kill your wife)
Jai then goes near the message board and turns back to see Sahil and Raashi chatting away merrily. He is happy to see the couple together and the turns back to the board to observe the messages. He comes to a message wherein its written that 'I know what happened on 29 June'. He gets flabbergasted and before he can do anything, he notices Bani coming towards the board. 😕
Jai had a little lamb … Bani. 😉Sorry, guys, Bani is literally following him around, radiating happiness and love all around. Only Mr. Duffer is unable to see his love-making impact on his darling wife! 😳😳😳
Jai quickly covers up the 29 June message, but there is another message on the board relating to the 'accident'. Its written in the form of a poetry and mentions that sometimes accidents do happen in our lives all of a sudden, when we are not at all prepared, but then sometimes good things also happen which changes our lives completely. Bani is obviously smelling romance in this quartet and she's very determined as to where her future will take her. She tells herself mentally that her husband feels that whatever happened was a mistake, while she knows that the she cannot retrace her steps back from the path which she has chosen, even if its means that probably she will have to travel all alone. Jai and Bani keep on staring at each other (i felt that what they wanted most was to be in each other's arms at that time … Stupid Park Road!!!) and Jai fels highly uncomfortable under Bani's loving gaze. Way to go girl! 😛😃😛
Pushkar's mom returns home and asks him to meet Pia and solve their differences since it is an issue between a husband and a wife. Pushkar asks his mother as to where Pia is at this moment. His mother hesitates but tells him that she is in Jai Walia's house. Pushkar loses his cool and shouts at his mother that he will never go to meet Pia there since she did not once think about him and his feelings before returning to that house.
Next day, they show Bani leaving the house to meet Pushkar and informs Tony that Mr. Walia's lunch is ready and should reach his office in time. BTW, Bani looks absolutely lovely in a fetching lime green saree. Wish what would Mr. Walia have to say about this loving avatar of his wife!!! 😳
Tony hands over a number of mails to Bani who glnces thru' them carelessly. She is about to leave when she suddenly remembers something and calls Tony back, takes the clutch of letters from him and once again shuffles thru' them. She sees that there is a letter from People's Bank, Juhu Branch addressed to Mr. Jai Walia. On enquiring, Tony replies that every member in the Walia household have their account in that Bank and Branch. Bani feels very surprised. She decides to visit the Bank first. 😕
She meets the Manager and asks him information about the cheques issued by her father on 18 June 1999. The manager is unable to trace the records but asks her to write a letter to the Head so that she can receive the information within 7 days. Bani receives a call from Pushkar at that time and decides to meet him in the evening. When she leaves the Bank and hails a taxi, Roshni sees her and feels very uncomfortable. She goes to meet the Manager and enquires as to why Mrs. Walia was in the Bank. On hearing everything from him, Roshni instructs the Manager to keep his mouth shut for time being. 😡
She then goes to Jai's office and barges into his room. Jai gets very irritated at this behaviour and tries to rebuke her, but she puts him down that he should try that technique with his wife who is turning into a detective. She tells him about the Bank incident and asks Jai to keep and eye on his wife. She then leaves and Jai is very exasperated.
Meanwhile, returning home in a cab, Bani is traveling through a semi-deserted patch of road. The taxi stutters twice and then refuses to move. The taxi driver asks Bani to stay put in the car and says that there's a mechanic nearby and he will go and fetch him soon. Bani is feeling very lost and alone and a little frightened, when she sees a house nearby. She decides to go there for help. 😕😕😕
On approaching the front door of the house, Bani finds that the door is unlocked. She hesitatingly enters the room and calls out for somebody. There is nobody in the house, it seems so she steps into the living room. At that moment, a gloved hand is seen closing the front door latch. On hearing the sound, Bani runs towards the door but it is firmly locked. She tries at other places too but fails to find an exit. At that moment, she notices through a side window, that there is a huge fire outside. She calls for help and keeps on pounding the door, but nobody comes. Bani then moves to the centre of the room and breaks down. Oh, my poor hunny Bani. 😉
(I hope our hero comes in time to save the damsel in distress. Pl God, not Pushkar, I will then kill everybody under the sun) 😡
A point to note : For the first time probably, Jai is not angry with Bani when he finds out from Roshni that she was trying to glean info from the Bank. He rather appeared confused and a little unsure. I fervently hope he stops those shouting matches with his darling wife, goddammit!) 😆😆😆
I know u guys are missing MT, there was no cable connection in her home last night. So please bear with us lesser mortals, until she is able to take over her hallowed duty of spoiling us merrily. 😆😉😆
