Everyone's favourite Geet... this time on net chatting we have everyone's favourite Drashti. Geet is her second show on television... she has done Dil Mil Gayee befor as Dr. Muskaan.
Drashti has done a lot of modelling and show but she claimed fame from one of her music video "Saiyaan Dil Mein Aana Re"... these days she is reaching new height as Geet, her popularity is soaring high with the character of Geet.
Television viewers are watching eternal love story of Geet and Maan's role is played by Gurmeet Choudhary... they are not at all compatible in real life but onscreem they are amazing as Maaneet.
Drashti has no intention of getting married as yet as her all attention is on her career.

Q – Drashti you are doing great as Geet, how did acting happen?
D – Since school and college I was in to drama and shows... I used to participate in them and by chance one of friend she went for audition and tag me along. There we got to know anyone can give the audition and I did and that was my first audition. After that I did few advertisements and "Saiyaan Dil Mein Aana Re" get me great feedback for which I got the role of Dr. Muskaan in Dil Mil Gayee.
Q – Print media (Ads), music and television which would be your favourite?
D – I think it would be advertisements because we get to be someone different everytime.
Q – You did great in Dil Mil Gayee do you miss the show?
D – Yes, not only me but all the actors of DMG miss the show we were of same age group and we have great fun but my Geet family is amazing also and I am treated like a princess by all of my co-stars.
Q – How did you end up having Geet serial?
D – Someone told me about audition of Geet were going on and I went there did the audition then I got to know about Geet's character there I developed cold feet but till I went ahead but I was not sure if I was the perfect choice of Geet, thanks to the team I did Geet with conviction.
Q – You had done great as Muskaan before doing Geet so why were you hesitant?
D – Dr. Muskaan was loud and carefree and I am similar to her that way so O could relate to her and that was what make it easier to play that role... but Geet was quiet and always scared it happened quite many times I forgot my lines and was corrected.
Q – Do you think you relate to Geet and there are women like her?
D – Yes, Geet is one of today's women but I cannot separate myself from my family and I have all the freedom be it my education or friends and as for marriage it will be to my family and they will decide.
Q – What are differences between Geet and Drashti?
D – Geet and Drashti both are today's women and know how to fight for their rights but Geet is really quiet and me I am really loud and fun loving and very much talkative.
Q – How does it feel being part of Geet?
D – I am proud of Geet and it makes me really happy when I am appreciated for the character of Geet.
Q – Have you ever encounter anyone as Geet in your rela life?
D – No, I haven't not till date but I do have heard lot from friends.
Q – What was your first reaction of Geet's character?
D – I was not well detailed about the role and I used to ask the director is I am the right choice as I was not confident about playing Geet in initial days.
Q – Have your life been affected when people call you Geet?
D – No, it feels good when I am called Geet and once this woman came up to me and said not to be sad everything will be fine... Geet will have her happiness. The woman was on holiday in China for a week and her daughter kept her update about Geet.. .IT feels good to know people care for you.
Q – Are you ready for marriage?
D – I think marriage is a huge responsibility and needs great commitment and time for which I am not ready.
Q – Do you have boyfriend?
D – When you are so much involved in your career this leaves no time for boyfriend.
Q – How is your equation with Gurmeet Choudhary on and offscreen?
D – I understand we are adored as Maan and Geet for that Gurmeet and I give our 100% so that we don't let our fans down.
Q – What is the secret of your chemistry with Gurmeet Choudhary?
D – The chemistry comes from what we are directed to do and it is our director. You have to understand we are just friends offscreen and also Gurmeet is married.
Q – What do you do when you are free?
D – I hand around with my friends when ever I get time.
Q – Will you do any othe show with Gurmeet Choudhary?
D – We are actors and those things are not in our hands and oncreen and offscreen are different things.
Q – Who is your biggest admirer at home?
D – My mom when I do emotional scenes she do get emotional when she knows it's just acting and she is proud of me.
