ya.. and one notable point here is that.. our prediction about eviction was almost always correct.. and the thumb rule was 'most the popularity, less the chances of eviction'

The charecter fan base is just the starting point a person can cross a couple of hurdles based on that but for a longer run it is his/her performance that matters. A couple of examples being Pooja Missra and Mehak Chehal. They were pretty much unknown apart from some of their controversies vis-a-vis Shakti Kapoor yet they survived based on what they did on the show. Nihita nad Gulabo had a hard luck that they did not get a chance to show their self before being removed from the contest.

Guys, lets not comment on fan bases or members. Come on last day... let the peace prevail and continue the fun!

About getting contestants in the show who are not popular or known on same level. Well many too do not know t.v. soap stars. Plus BB can break or make one image. So even if a contestant is liked by many cos of their t.v. shows, but if the same contestants behave badly then they do lose their fans and popularity. It has happen especially last season. Some contestants who were not known much too gain a lot of popularity through this show if they click with the viewers.

Yes, initial first two weeks are dicey especially first one. Because housemates themselves do not know each other [assuming no friends, couples are there in the house] So who get nominated and evicted is a matter of luck in that week. Later on as the show goes on, choices and favourites are build upon or keep on changing based on contestants behaviour in the show.

A person like Shakti Kapoor or Pooja Bedi were known much more than any other contestants still they were voted out. One of the last season contestant was a popular soap star still that person lost many a fans and was voted out. It all depends upon how the contestants carry themselves in the show.

Popularity factor might come into effect first couple of weeks if they are in nomination that too against weaker unpopular housemates. Otherwise it all depends on their antics in the show.

And ofcourse as every reality show is manipulated to some extent cos of the trp game BB team too play its role in highlighting some contestants some way or the other in a good or bad way. It happens every season. Jab BB hi manipulate karte hai toh kya kehena. 😛

Also if all are on the same popularity meter before the start of the show then BB might not get to manipulate as he himself will get confused who to evict and who to not. BB cannot afford that headache. 😛 😆

I'm definitely enjoying the show.. and observing and analyzing different things about the show & viewers too.. and this is my observation that there are some blind fans who are totally biased about their favorite contestants.. can't hear a word against them.. can't see their wrongs.. I personally feel that out of remaining 5 contestants all have negatives and positives in their personalties.. and no one out of them is perfect and deserves to win 100% unlike Sameer and Shweta of previous season..

u r wrong dear ..every fan is biased to their fav ones ... if u say juhi fans can never want to hear a word against juhi , then i should say u have a wrong view ... bcoz juhi fans never gone to hasty arguments which is true whether u agree or not ..everyone on the forum knows it well ...all i would point is u shouldn't call them as 'blind fans' though they r few or all ..watever ..its not correct ..if u still want to make that tag ... god bless u
