Hello everyone đ,
I am a silent reader of this forum and this is my 1st topic here so please be kind. And don't mean to offend anyone here, if you do disagree with anything in this post please say so in a civil manner and I will be more than happy to discuss it.
Anyways I would like to share my opinion on the show and give you all a glimpse into my personal life as my family has some similarity to relationships portrayed in this soap.
I would like to begin with the devil lady called Swamini and closeness with Viren. Many term it as unhealthy and possessive. I can speak from personal experience as I am very close to my 'bua' and call her badi maa as well. I have 5 buas but I only call one of them badi maa because I am closest to her. Since I started calling her badi maa all my cousins and my sibling call her badi maa as well. Just because I call my buaa badi maa does not mean that I love my mom any less. I respect and love my mother to no limit however every important decision I have taken in my life I have consulted mom and badi maa, They both are very important to me and each of them hold a very important place in my life.
You don't have to give birth to baby to be motherly towards a child. Swamini's love or some would call it obsession is not because Viren is her son, she is drawn to Viren as he is first born and she shares a special connection with him just like my badi maa shares a special connection with me. Having said that Swamini's behavior is over the top and her love for Viren is getting a little out of hand but then this is a show and if it was not over the top what would be talk about? And what would we watch on tv?
Coming to the hot or shall I say a touchy topic on this forum i.e Manvi and Jeevika (please don't throw shoes at me lol) I am the older sister and shall I say more responsible then my younger devil sister lol. Having said that I am not goody two shoes like Jeevika I am human and I make a lot of mistakes, upset my parents, upset my badi maa, upset my friends. My younger sister is goofy and screws things a lot more but is not a complete goofball like Manvi. What we have to understand is that these are television characters and balance is not what they etch. All these characters are very unidemensional and sadly that is not how real life is. We all have different facets to ourselves and that's what gives us our distinctive personality.
Manvi and Jeevika share a very special relationship and to compare them is like comparing apples to oranges. Both are special and their lovely relationship forms the basis of this show. These are two special sisters and from perfect jodi's with their respective male leads. What would be the point of watching the show if Viren-Jeevika behaved like Virat-Manvi or vice-a-versa. All four characters give life to the show and make it an interesting watch. I love the banter of Virat-Manvi and the mature intense love of Viren-Jeevika. For me this show would be incomplete without each of them and I am very glad that I get to watch a show where I get to see love in every aspect. Badi maa's love disguised in possessiveness, a sister's love disguised in anger at the moment, a brother's love disguised in disappointment currently and a husband's love disguised in distance. So let's rejoice love in all it's forms, shapes and sizes â¤ď¸.
