It has been 3 days since maan has come to chennai ... he was busy finding the root cause of the problem and once when he found the base he was deternined to sort it ... When it comes to business no one can beat Maan singh khuranna ...
" Mr.Venkat i gave u some work hope u finished it " asked maan while checking a file
Mr.Venkat was chief incharge of KC's southern branch ... Morelike other staffs he was also afraid of his MD ... After long day and night works maan has derived some few points which would make the company to attain its previous height ... And one of th emost impt point among that is advertising ... Maan wants no stone to be unturned in promoting his company...
" yes sir i have talked with the best advertising company here and they are ready to work with us ... u just have to attend a formal meeting with them ... i have arranged the meeting on monday sir " Venkat said proudly
" umm " maan said ... that is something rare to hear from maan ... if u hear a ' umm' it means that u have done a decent job ... u can't expect him to appreciate with words ... its more than enough if he didn't storm at u
Finally it was sunday and maan got some free time to spend for himself ... maan was not good remembering particular spl days like b'days ……………………… he doesn't even know his b'day if daadi didn't remind him ……………….. he had the same disease of forgetting days which has hit most of men in world ……………………… he wouldn't have remebered that avinah's b'day was next Friday if anvisha hadn't reminded him ……………… maan decided to buy a gift for avinash …………………. Well it was not much difficult to select a gift for 4 year old boy specially when he is fond of cartoons ………………………
Maan asked his driver to drop him at some mall and pick him when he call ……………………… maan entered the mall ………………….. A mall is not the place for Maan singh khuranna he hates when lot of ppl are around …………………………… But he was happy that most of the ppl didn't recognise him there as great business tycoon and he don't have to face media and walk with body guards unlike in Delhi …………………………….But still few girls were drooling over him …………………… of couse gals don't change with change in place …………………… after all he was maan singh khuranna and a gal could kill to get his one look …………………
Maan entered a kids shop …………………… it was really not of his kind to walk into some shop like this …………………. Mostly in delhi either daadi or adi would pick a gift on his behalf ……………….. maan knew that avinash was fond of some particular animation character but maan hadn't any clue regarding the name ……………………. He thought of calling avinash but then he would spoil the surprise of that small boy ……………………. So maan decided to look aroung to see if he gets any clue of the toy …………………….finally maan found the toy he was searching for avinash and he went to the bill counter with satisfaction …………………
" mom I want Ben10 gun " maan heard a small boy complaiming ………………………
maan looked at the boy then at the packet in his hand ………………… That was the same toy the boy was asking for ……………… he looked back at the counter from where he picked the toy …………………….. alas there was no more left maan's must have been the last piece ………………
" be a gud boy I ll get u that tmr " said the mom's boy who was facing her back to maan
" no mom I need it now …………. All my frds have their own gun " the boy complained
" promise baby I ll get u tmr " his mom tried to convince
" no I want it now or else I ll not come with u " the boy said determindly crossing his arms…………………….. Maan was enjoying the lil fight between the boy and his mom …………….. he never get to see something like this a lot …………………….. he once remember fighting with his mom exactly the same way like that small boy ……………..
" oh ! god so stubborn u lil devi ……………… I ll see if I could do anything " his mom said turning to the side maan was standing ………………….. his eyes widened in shock seeing her …………………. He rubbed his eyes a couple of time to check if it was her ………………..
" oh god such a small world " he said to himself
By then his billing was done and maan got the toy from the counter …………………. He asked one of the sales boy to give the toy to the small boy who was crying …………………and he did the same
" oh my god thank u so much fnally u found the toy or else I don't know wat my son would have done " she said getting the packet from the sales boy . ……………. She took her purse to pay the money when he said that someone has already paid for it ……………..
" already paid? But who ? " she asked in surprise coz she hardly know ppl here though she lives in chennai for past 3 years ………………. Before the sales boy could answer she heard a voice " I paid " she turned to the person and was surprised beyond words
" omg is that u maan " she asked in surprise
" yes geetu " he said before giving her a warm hug
" oh I can't believe this ……… its been nearly 4 to 5 years since we met " she said still with excitement in her tone
" yeah long time …………… so how r u ? " he asked
" great and u ? "
" perfect " …………….
His eyes went to the small boy who was standing hugging geet's leg ……………..
" this must be juniour malki " he said lifting sid in his arms " wats ur name ? " …………………… Sid looked at his mom as if seeking permission if he could speak to maan
" say ur name " geet said
" sidhanth " sid said
" he looks exactly like u especially when he was fighting with u for that toy " maan said
" oh god thank god he has the toy or else he would have killed me crying ………………. If he fix something in mind its hard to erase it " said geet brushing sid's hair with her fingers
" I thought u wud have shifted to delhi " maan said
" umm I work for Chennai branch of my company " geet said
" lunch ? " maan asked when he spotted the food court ……………………. Geet nodded yes………
They three settled comfortably in a table at far corner …………….. maan and geet sat opp eachother and sid in his baby chair ……………….maan looked at the menu card then at geet ……………..
" after skimming the menu for next mins u r gonna order for cheese sandwich so why waste time ? " maan teased
Geet looked at him surprised " do u remember still "
" kind of …… so wat will u have ? " maan asked turning to sid
Sid looked at geet …………… " he is too young to eat outside food " geet said " I have biscuits for him "
" ohk I ll be back " maan said and left the table to give order
Geet gave sid cream biscuits and was helping him to eat …………………. When maan returned with food ………………………
Maan was admiring sid who was eating a single biscuit with great difficulty ……………………….. Sid saw maan looking at him and he smiled …………………….. Suddenly maan big muscles caught sid's attention ………………… sid poked maan's bisceps …………………. maan didn't understand why he did that ……………….. he looked at sid then geet ………………
" mom its really big like……………. Like batman " sid said …………………….. maan and geet laughed seeing sid's animated expression
" u ll be strong some day but only if u drink milk regularly …………… u know he drinks milk three times a day " geet said smiling at sid
" milk ? " maan made a yucky face ……………………….. Milk is the thing he hate the most
" maan " geet gave him 'don't say that ' look
" umm………… yeah ……….. of course milk is good for health ……………… u shd take milk daily " said maan
" so maan wat r u dng here in chennai " asked geet
" business " maan said
" now u r handling uncle's business ?" she asked
" yeah me and dev"
" oh how is dev and anvisha ? " asked geet remebering his two naughty siblings
" good. Dev is married and anvisha has a four year old boy Avinash " he said
" oh! Really ……. And u ? " she asked
" what me ? " he asked raisng his eyebrows
" married ? " she asked
" umm ………..i didn't find the lucky gal yet " he said with a wink
Geet rolled her eyes
Maan and geet were recollecting their old memories of collage and they had lot to catch up what they missed these years ……………… 2 hrs is not enough to cover four years's story……………
" oh maan I think I have to go now I am expecting a guest this evening " said geet taking her shopping bags
" I ll drop u to car " maan said taking sid in his arms……………….. well he was having sid in his arms since when they met ………………..
They reached geet's car
" do u want a lift ?" geet asked placing the bags in back seat
" no I have my car "
" where do u stay ?" asked geet
" for now I stay at ###### " said maan
" oh! I know that place its very near mine " said geet getting sid from him
" ur number " maan asked taking his phone from his pocket
" 9***7***9** " said geet " call me if u need anything
" now that I know u r here I m gonna trouble u often …………. I don't know anyone here " maan said with a smile
" of course u can ………… we r meeting after long time " said geet getting into the car
" bye " maan said
" see u soon " geet said and rode away ………………
