It has been long time since I enjoyed an episode of Navya! Don't get me wrong it's not because I agree with the views of the Bajpies! Not in this lifetime ...come to think of it not it any life time. It's because the CVs did an excellent job of highlighting the contrast between the thinking of the two families!

I remember reading a while back that Navya isn't about young love but about parenting. I know we all love the romance of young lovers Anant and Navya but you will have to agree the show is all about the differences in how the Bajpies and Mishras deal with their children and women.

On one side we have Depu who shows respect and love to all the women in his life by listening to their views, supporting them, involving them in all the decision of the family.

Then we see Om being disrespectful to Suganda, and his children. The idea of listening to their opinion would be a completely alien idea to him. He is heavy handed in the way he dealts with Anant. To him it is all about we know best and you shut up and listen. Anant raised some excellent points but the elders were not willing to listen and unlike the Mishras who all listened when Navya pointed out earlier that they must tell the Bajpies everything. The differences were beautifully highlighted.

The Mishras are in no way modern but their softness, calmness and respectful ways in dealing with each other is wonderful to see.

I have often found that the CVs go from track to track in a very very choppy way. Almost like they don't know where to take the story or as if they know what they want at the end but don't know how to get there. Finally i think they have found a good track.

I hope they don't sacrifice poor Nimisha to show another contract in how the families deal with broken relationships!

Keep up the good work. I loved it.

I am sure it is a horrible existence when they believe they have no option. They have no power in their in-law home and have to quietly accept anything. And they can no longer go back to their parent's home because they will no longer be accepted back.

This is why to show the contrast I think something bad is going to happen with Nimisha.
