~~ DIL KI BATEEIN~~

chapter 3:

now geet bacame a part of their gang. They all wil have lot of masti, bunking school, hang outs, shopping, movies n all. They becae unseperable. They all r very comfortable with each other. But sometimes they fed up with yash n geet's jhagda. Now its cultural week in the school. All r very excited about it. The whole gang decided to participate in the debate. But geet is so nervous but she cant say no to her friends so she too participated.

Its the day of debate competiton n they gave the topic n all r very excited( dont ask the topic). All r speaking their views. There is full of hangama but geet didnt speak anything all her friends r asking her to speak.

When her eyes met with maan he assured her to speak. Now her energy boosted up n she started speaking. Her voice is very commanding n she spoke very well. Every one appreciated her.

The 1^st prize goes to MAAN n 2^nd proze goes to GEET.

Geet didn't emerge as the winner in the debate but what she learned was definitely more than this victory.

Geet's gang didn't want to see her disappointed after that they all went to the canteen to celebrate Geet's second position.

Geet was very happy to find such friends and specially Maan ,he always spread smiles ,so lively ,very encouraging such a good friend.

All of them enjoyed their small celebration .

Soon their friendship got deeper and deeper with each and every passing day meanwhile Maan started to hold a special place in Geet's life ...even while reading any novel she imagined her as the female protagonist and Maan as the male one.

She started relating many important things of her life to him...on the other side even Maan tried his level best to spend more time with Geet but it wasn't that easy because he was in the non-medical section and Geet was in the medical one.

But still they managed to talk to each other.

And unknowingly there was something that attracted them towards each other ...Geet talked a lot about Maan while telling about her school incidents to her sister.

She started to write more about him in her dairy .

Some sweet ,unknown relationship not necessarily love.

But slowly everyone got busy in their studies ,started to prepare for their boards...tension ,less hang outs , less phone convo's , long and tiring assemblies to consecutive boring periods of most irritating subject ,PTA meetings , explations for the less marks , competition, tuitions , snoozing alarms, late night studies , purchasing all the new sample papers and what not ,they all got very busy in their preperations they rarely went out to enjoy ,they usually used to sit together and chat after their pre-boards got over .

And soon the most awaited day occuresd ...the Farewell Party.

Everyone was excited to join and enjoy the celebration.

Girls were told to wear a sari and formal suit for boys.

The whole gang decided to meet at a place before entering the auditorium .

Maan and the other boys were looking really good in the formal wear and while laughing and talking to his friens ,Maan saw Geet coming towards them , unable to carry the sari.

Maan once looked at her and kept looking at her.

She was looking ravishing in the black netted sari .

Her hair opened up .

Oh,...he never saw Geet like that...he was unable to take his eyes from her ,how can someone look so innocent and lovely ,he thought .

Maan thought oh god.. she is looking awesome in that saree.

But soon he had to take his eyes off from her as he was with all the other friends.

They all thoroughly enjoyed all the performances by their juniors ,they danced on the dance floor on the whole they enjoyed a lot but as soon as the party got over and they started clicking pictures with each other ,the whole surrounding became silent ,tears started flowing from many eyes ,they hugged each other relishing all those funny ,naughty times they spend together.

They knew that after school they are hardly gonna meet each other.

They would now not meet each other every day.

All those moments can never come back ,their cute jhagdas,hangouts they all are going to miss them.

Soon the atmosphere became very emotional and they started hugging each other and even Maan and Geet hugged each other remembering all those moments of their friendship but still there was a hope in all of them they promised that even though there are very less chances of them meeting regularly but still they'll remain in touch with each other .

Soon the exams got over ,result was out ,colleges started before the colleges started they all met near their school . Everyone got admissions in different colleges except for Meera and Geet who got admission in the same medical college .

And one day on the last day of their first semester Maan got the biggest shock of his life.

He lost his parents in an accident. They r no more

He felt that everything was swept away from his feet in just few moments ,he wasn't able to bear that shock ...but how is that possible??

He lost his life !!

He cried for the first time , fogettign everything cried for his parents helplessly telling them to come back

Things got more worser ,Khurana Constructions was on the verge of closing.

That night he sat there alone in his room when he saw his small brother and sister crying badly standing at the entrance of his room ,looking at him . They seemed helpless and he felt helpless after watching them in that position.

He went near them ,sat on his knees and hugged them and tried to console them ,wiped their tears and that moment he realised that he was the only one left to take care of his small brother and sister. He has to be strong for them.

They should be happy he thought. I will do everything to make them happy. From today I am here to take care of them. Now I am not only their brother but mom n dad even. They will never miss them. I promise dad n mom I will take care of them.

He was the only one who can return their smile.

Days passed ,months passed ...Maan started to become MSK in the quest of his family's happiness.

Worked day and night studies hard ,his smile started to fade ,he hardly enjoyed ...he always concentrated on their better future ...losing himself.

From there started the rise of MSK and in this Maan was lost somewhere , his smile was lost somewhere.

That old fun loving n happy maan lost some where. He became MSK tough n rude.
