Firstly, really sorry abut late late comment.. but honestly, I posted it right at the front, had to be 2nd or 3rd comment but my stupid phone.. I commented at around 4 in the morning.. read it when I woke up from sleep half way through the night.. read it & commented on it.. but somehow IF didn't register it 😡 hate accessing If through phones.. but sorry for keeping u waiting!!

OK!! coming to the update.. once again this was awesome!! romantic, uber cute, perfect date with perfectly romantic moments btw almost perfect couple that u have created, specially Arnav in ur FF is to die for!! 😳😳

Loved the fact that u once again choose Arnav's farmhouse as their 2nd date spot!! bringing back wonderful memories for me as a reader as well as for ArHi where they felt closer than ever before for the 1st time.. awesome thought!! But more importantly, it was the warmth & the atmosphere that u created swayed me totally!! I super super super loved that u finally penned down one moment where they were both swaying in each others arms looking at the moon & brightly lit beautiful sky & feeling the closeness to their parents!! I was waiting for u to pen this moment down because I so appropriately relate to it.. though not as memories of parents but every night or whenever I feel lonely, I sit by the french doors opening up to my backyard & stare at the moon as long as my eyes doesn't shut itself, thinking of memories which are dear to me & also, building up memories of my prince charming who still hasn't entered my boundaries 😳😳 but ya, I just so love it.. Thank u for using it in ur FF.. now, it gonna be more special to me!!

I'm gonna say this the zillionth time.. I just love love love Arnav in ur FF 🤗 the mature, caring, sensitive Arnav which opens up only in front of Khushi is just dreamyyy!! 😍 Love how he notices every little gesture os Khushi.. this time around, his mind registered the fact that she's turned on just by noticing Khushi caressing her hand around her neck.. but is pulling her fingers out 😆 voila! she's nervous.. she doesn't know how to voice out the fact that she can't become his at the moment!! & his comment.. "meaningless sex" surprising choice of words but perfect to put his thoughts forward.. which even Khushi realizes that for both of them, this relation means life, bond of purity & eternity.. & so, physical closeness is just a way of showing a part of this love & not complete love.. doesn't matter if they are physical or not.. it's the strong bond, understanding & truthfulness btw them which marks their relationship!! Awesome..

Alright!! I just loveee the song u played for them.. "just a kiss" one of my favourites!! like u said Arnav's thoughts identifies to the lyrics of this song perfectly!! 👏 super choice babe!! Also, u once again marked the fact clearly that Arnav has left behind the misunderstanding btw them long back & his mind doesn't hover over those thoughts anymore.. though I have to add, I being a little ruthless, loved that Khushi feels guilty abut it still but also, realizes Arnav's love which is to an extent that he has forgotten abut it all & has clearly moved on & cannot see tears in her eyes bcoz of it.. so, now Khushi should just forget abut it.. but remember it a little bit so that she doesn't repeat even a bit of it in future!!

Lastly, The precap!! zalim harshi!! itne romantic date ke baad aisa heart wrenching clifhanger!! 😈 so, Arnav's anger over something Khushi did & that too making sure her touch doesn't melt him.. hmm.. something intense coming up!! I have a feeling I'm gonna enjoy this tiff.. 😈 he he.. but really curious to know what has she done this time to wind up Arnav again!! curious, anxious, impatiently waiting for the next update!!

Ahh!! When y'all will be expecting something BIG, I brush it off like it was a speck of dust!!

Writing this has pissed off my Shyamu at work!! (A guy who helps me out almost always!! Don't blame me for using him!! I had never asked for his help, in the first place!!! 😉 So now I'm off to console him!! It always helps to have a senior on your side, you see!! 😉 😆 )
So when I come back, I better get appreciation for my efforts. Juggling with work, writing, AND a Shyamu is tiresome!!! 😕

Part 31:

As Arnav put on his seat belt, he heard Khushi calling his name in a small voice. Just one Arnav from her told him she was concerned, anxious, and curious as to what was happening, and somewhere down there, he could even recognise a hint of fear in her voice. He sighed before he turned to her, and pulled her close to himself. As he smoothed her hair over her back, he asked her, "Where's your phone, child? Turn it on."

Khushi pulled back, her eyebrows pulling down in a frown, as she answered, "I didn't bring my phone. You had asked me to switch it off, remember. I thought I'd not bring it at all. . . . What is the matter, Arnav?"

Arnav relaxed a notch as he smiled at her, and told her it was not a big deal. Khushi was about to press further, but he silenced her with a kiss, and made her lay her head aginst shoulder as he started driving towards Shantivan.

As they waited for somebody to open the door at Shantivan, Khushi noticed that Arnav looked angry, and a little worried too. She was about to ask what he was not telling her, which was obviously affected him so much, when OP opened the door with the silliest possible grin on his face. Khushi, being the kind soul she was, would have given him a small smile. But a worried Arnav was worrying her too, and she didn't give two hoots about courteousness, at the moment!

As she entered the living room , she noticed the worried faces of all the Raizadas, and the two Jhas. Arnav wasn't looking at her, and was suddenly interested only in her hand, as he sat there, looking at their entwined hands. She looked up, as her eyes searched for the second most closest soul in that room, her jiji, Payal.

Payal gave a worried smile to her sister. At times like this, Payal hated her Buaji like anything.
'I mean! Arnavji and Khushi are practically married!! Khushi calls herself "Khushi Singh Raizada", for crying out loud!' Payal thought angrily! Even though Payal was madly in love with Akash, she had never seen a love such as her Khushi's and Arnav's. Was a Mangalsutra to decide their relationship now? Or give any new dimension that their relationship already didn't have?! As she sat next to Khushi, holding Khushi's free hand, Khushi asked what the matter was.

"Buaji had called. . . . ." Payal said, her voice filled with concern.
Khushi's frown deepened as she asked, "Okaaay. . . . And that's bad because. . . .???"
"She called you. And when you didn't pick up your phone, she called here. And she came to know that you had gone out with Arnavji, and you know Buaji. . . . She's appalled with the fact that you are going out with him like this before marriage, and she wants you back at Lucknow. At least until you both get married." Payal explained.
"What? So she isn't coming here then?" Khushi asked, to which Payal answered, "She is. But she wants you to go back with her to Lucknow!!!"

"That's stupid!" Arnav muttered, and Khushi turned to him and mouthed, "I'll say!!"
Nani intervened this time, as she said, "I think she is right."
Arnav's mouth fell open as he turned to Naniji, as she continued "Its not in our customs that an unmarried couple see each other before their marriage!"
"What the f*…" Arnav had started and for once he had a mind to complete the profanity when Khushi held his arm, stopping him at that.

Arnav was so angry, all he could see was red!! He stomped off to his room! 'Unbelievable!! Nani is supporting that. . . that huge MOUNTAIN of a woman now???!!!' He thought as he quickly took a cold shower, which usually helped in reducing his anger a little. But even that failed miserably this time. 'All thanks to Buaji!' Arnav thought sarcastically, as he changed. He heard a knock at the door and Arnav knew it was Khushi. He really needed his anger with him, so that he could think of a solution for all this! But if he saw her, he knew he'd never be able to be angry anymore. So he didn't answer and after sometime the doorknob turned. He had locked his door.

Khushi thought he may either have slept off or he was really angry. 'Oh well. . . I'll let him be for tonight. Let him calm down, and then I'll talk to him. . . .' Khushi thought as she headed to her room, just opposite to hers.
The next day, Arnav was gone by the time she finished her exercise and came down after taking a shower. She even called him on his phone, but he just said he was busy and cut the call! 'Well! What do you know?! What's my fault in this?! Why avoid me??!!' Khushi thought in annoyance.

What was more surprising was that Arnav entered Shantivan with her parents and a nervous Buaji at about 4 p.m.! Nani welcomed them all, and when Khushi went further to touch her feet, Buaji glared at her, making Khushi back off.
Arnav, who had noticed all this, clenched his jaw in anger. Nobody mistreated his Khushi and got away with it!

After having some tea, as all the grownups sat talking about what they should do about Khushi an Arnav, Buaji addressed all the Raizadas. "Its not fair to leave our daughter in your house like this, before she becomes the bahu of this house. I hope you understand and let her come with us."
Nani couldn't argue with her, knowing that she was right.
"But Buaji. . ." Khushi started, when Buaji butted in, "Not now, Khushi! Do you want us all to bow our heads in shame? If not for my sake, do this for Shashi's sake. At least have that much of gratitude towards him, for giving you a home and. . . . ."

"ENOUGH!" Arnav's voice boomed in the living room, as he glared at Buaji, who had cowered back in her seat at the seething tone of Arnav's voice.

Arnav turned his livid face to Khushi, making Khushi wince and flinch mentally. "What the hell is she talking about, Khushi?" he asked, and when Khushi took a step ahead to put her hand on him, he pulled away, muttering, "No! Don't you touch me right now!!"

"How can you let her talk to you like that?!" Arnav asked, still not looking her in the eye.
"Its no big deal!" Khushi whispered, her voice audible just for him, pleading him to calm down.
But Arnav wasn't ready to hear the end of it. "I have had ENOUGH of this! Khushi is going nowhere. I repeat NOWHERE. And if that needs me to marry her like RIGHT NOW? Then marry her, I will!"

All the eyes in the room turned towards Arnav in utter shock. Khushi slowly walked towards Arnav, as a slow smile appeared on her face. Arnav turned towards her and gave a slight smile as he reassured her, as his arms went around her.

Buaji started her ramble again, "Par ee kaise. . . ."

Shashi stopped her this time saying, "Jiji!! Arnavji is like our damaad already! And the kids clearly love each other very much! I don't have any objection for this marriage at all!!"
Khushi, oblivious to all this, grinned at Arnav, and turned towards their family members. Her grin faded as she saw the shocked expressions on their face.
Arnav, on seeing Khushi's smile fade, asked, "What?" And Khushi jerked her head towards their family members.

Arnav put on his grim expression, as he asked everybody, "WHAT??!!"
Anjali was the first to be woken up from her trance. "Naniji, Sashiji, Buaji. . . . We have a marriage to arrange!"
And all of them ran out of the room, as Anjali led them out.

'That's it?! That's all it takes from Arnav and they run away as if they are scared to death??!!' Khushi thought. When she turned to Arnav, disbelief in her eyes, she found him grinning at her.
Arnav teased, "I kept my promise. I didn't let you take responsibility! CHILD!!"
And Khushi smiled at him lovingly and pulled him into a tight hug. . . . . . . . . . . . .

Precap: "You already call yourself Khushi Singh Raizada! Let me make it legal!!" Arnav murmured against her lips, and she smiled, staring into his eyes. Each of them reveled in the love that shone for them, in the other's eyes.
