Its mainly because Sarika got an opportunity to study & she has to be at home. And secondly, as soon as Sarika came, everyone stared praising her.

After today's episode, I was wondering - why does Shikha not change focus, and make some smarter moves. When Chandan left the table in disgust, why was she still standing there? Instead of talking about Sarika, why not instigate him to join her and leave the house, since he feels that they no longer care for him? She could have suggested that they move to her parents' house, and live there until he finds a new job and they can afford a new place.

The best solution now for the Poddars is to cut Shikha & Chandan loose, and let them move out, instead of everybody stupidly talking about giving Chandan chances. I agree w/ Ghanshyam, but not for the reasons he gave. Reason I agree is that Chandan originally didn't want to do that, and was forced to by Santosh. Now that they've lost faith in him, this is a good opportunity for him to break away and do something else. For starters, he should move out, and following that, he should try doing whatever it is that interests him. Shikha too can do something - maybe open a parlor, and contribute w/ the income as well. The 2 of them would be much happier living together away from the family, than living in the midst of people who they resent.

Speaking of which, the closing moments, where was the need for Shikha to be among the women, when Chandan is hurting and she ought to be by him? She doesn't like them anyway, so why not break it by spending as much time w/ Chandan, and less w/ the moms, jethanis & devranis.

Also, as an aside, shouldn't Dadisa be fine by now? Or is she dead?
