Ghatna
This story revolves around a ghatna that happened in a building. The building is not yet completed and is still in the process of being made.
The episode opens with you seeing a shot of the building at night. It has about 10 stories and looks very scary. Next morning, the building contractor and his assisstant are showing the building to the new supervisor who will finish the work. The contractor tells him that the work in the building stopped for 6 months due to a court case about land dispute and the old supervisor left for Dubai in the meanwhile. The new supervisor (forgot his name, sorry) says that leaving a building in the middle is weird. the contractor brushes it aside and says that you will need to find new labor as the old ones left and got other jobs in the six months that the work was stopped. The supervisor agrees. The contractor then shows him a house right in front of the building and says that you can stay there untill the work of the building is completed. The supervisor is ecstatic.
It is night and the supervisor and his wife, Shilpa have settled in. Shilpa is going through the cupboard and finds a diary in there. she starts to read it and her husband asks what it is. she says that it is a diary that she found and it belongs to a Madhav Das. the supervisor says that that was the old supervisor. he says let me read it maybe it has something about the construction of the building. Shilpa refuses however saying that it is bad to read someone else's personal diary. the supervisor agrees and says that he will give it to the contractor the next day. the supervisor goes to sleep. Shilpa sits on the bed and is about to sleep too when she hears voices. they are coming from the building. she takes a torch and walks out into the dark night towards the building. she then sees the "ghatna".
Some girl named Rakhee and Raj where talking. Raj tells Rakhee that he has booked a flat in the building on the 6th floor because he knows that she does not like to live in the bungalow with daddyji. Rakhee is very happy and asks to go see the flat. Raj says okay even though it is not made. He takes her to the 6th floor and pushes her off of there. she falls on the ground. her screams are everywhere. Shilpa screams. the supervisor comes running out and asks her what happened. she relates all this to him. he is scared too. he says that she must be dreaming. she is stubborn and tells him to come and look at the girl's dead body. they go but can't find anything. Shilpa still keeps saying that she saw the murder. her husband tells her practically that there is no blood anywhere either. Shilpa then starts saying that the murderer named Raj must be in the building still. they go up and look but there is nothing. Shilpa and her husband leave but shilpa is still scared and doesn't sleep a wink the rest of the night.
Next morning the supervisor tells shilpa that he has a lot of meetings today and he is not certain whether he should leave her alone. Shilpa says that she will be fine. the supervisor leaves. Shilpa goes out into the balcony to look at the building again. she sees the same girl Rakhee just standing outside the building. Shilpa gets scared, she runs inside to get a camera. she takes a picture of the girl but the girl is not in the picture. Shipa is very scared. She takes a couple of more pictures but still no girl in the picture. then the girl disappers rite in front of Shilpa's eyes. Shilpa is shocked and faints.
That night Shilpa gets up, and the supervisor and the contractor are in the living room. she goes down and the supervisor is very concerned about her. she says that she is fine. the supervisor then asks her why she took so many pictures of the building. she says that the girl i was talking about was stading right in the picture but she wudn't come in the pictures. she starts saying that there is an aatma in the building and that is why the old supervisor and crew left work and ran away. she asks the contractor if she is saying the truth and if he knows something about the girl. the contractor starts sweating but refuses to say anything. he says that he doesn't know what she is talking about. now, the supervisor gets mad at Shilpa and tells her to shut up! and says sorry to the contractor. he says that Shilpa hasn't been feeling well, so she is hallucinating.
Suddenly, Shilpa hears the same voices and conversation again. she runs out and the supervisor and the contracto run out with her. she sees the Ghatna again and asks then if they can see it, but both the others say that they can't see anything. they tell her to go inside and sleep. the contractor and the supervisor leave and Shilpa goes back in the house.
Shilpa thinks about Madhav's diary and reads thru it. she reads that Madhav had also seen the same ghatna and that he too was the only one who saw it and the othersa round him never saw it. she then finds a psychiatrist's card in the diary and says to herself that she will go to talk to him the next day.
Next day, at the doctor's office, Shilpa asks about Madhav and the doctor tells her that he had a mental illness and he is still being treated in this hospital. Shilpa is shocked tha tthe contractor lied to them. she asks if she can talk to Madhav and the doctor agrees. She goes to talk to Madhav and Madhav tells her how he used to hear the screams all the time and in front of a group of pple and no one else ever heard. he also tells her how he saw the ghatna in front of the contractor but the contractor din't see anything and that the girl's dead body was lying right in front of both of them but the contractor never saw anything and how the body disappered from right in front of his eyes. everyone thought he was crazy but he knows that he saw that girl!
the supervisor and Shilpa are putting their suitcases in the car and leaving when the contractor comes. he begs them to not go but they don't listen saying that he cheated them by lying to them about Madhav and what happened. They are about to leave when Shilpa sees the girl coming towards them. the girl mouths to Shilpa that "Raj ko saaza dene main meri madad karo, Please" and then she disappers. Shilpa says that she is not going anywhere until this mystery is solved. her husband is scared and begs her to leave but shilpa is stubborn and wudn't budge!!! she asks the contractor if he knows about any bungalows that have a huge lawn, five rooms, a train track nearby and a statue of a girl with her hands folded on the fornt entrance. the contractor says that there are about 20 of these houses in all of mumbai and he will tell his assisstant to show him to all of these the next day!!! Shilpa is very happy.
next day, it is night. Shilpa and the assisstant have been roaming around finding the house and have already been to 12. the assitant wants to go home as he is tired. Shilpa tells him to go and that she will come on her own. the assisstant leaves without a look back. she goes to the house and rings the doorbell. the servant opens the door and she is about to ask for the master of the house when she sees a picture of Rakhee on the wall and she gets excited and tells the servant that she has seen Rakhee. the servant calls the Rakhee's husband and shilpa is about to tell him everything when she remembers that even he could be Raj so she asks him his name first. he says that his name is Pratap Singh. she tells him everything. he says that i want to see the place where my wife died and she agrees. they go to the building and she takes him to the 6th floor. there he starts crying and wailing for his Rakhee. he then takes out a handkerchief from his pocket and starts wiping his tears. the handkerchief has the name "raj" embroidered on it and Shilpa sees this.
she gets scared and says "tum raj ho?" he starts laughing evilly and says so u figured it out??? yes, i killed my wife cuz i only married her for her money and then she started becoming a pain in my neck when she started saying that she din't want to stay in the bungalow with my dad. so i killed her and now i am going to kill you too. he starts to strangle and push Shilpa off the building. Shilkpa is screaming hysterically. then she hears footsteps and sees Rakhee coming towards them. Raj can't see Rakhee and is really scared. Then suddenly Rakhee shwos herself to him and he falls down the building in shock.

It was an old aahat episode. It was okay! the bhootni did a nice job of acting like a bhootni...lolz....njoy!
