It is possible that Meera might not leave that garden until K shows up. Her friend Sheetal might call Chandu and tell him that Meera is freezing in the cold and rain and that she will not leave that place until Krishna shows up. K might go in the middle of the night and lie to Pratigya about the real problem. This matter might lead to a big misunderstanding between K and P in the future.
