Actors of SRK's stature survive on the cult of personality just like politicians do. They try to sell an idealized image of themselves in order to gain public approval.

And most will get in bed with whomever or whatever group it takes to achieve their desired end.

Sounds like a perfect fit for old SRK doesn't it?

What does self-less-ness have to do with politics?!

On the contrary, politics is about selfishness! It's a race to fill up your pockets. How many politicians are there that do not pursue any self-interest while in office? It's rare.
