U r rite that if Jai had a chance to speak with Bani without Pia interrupting that things might have been different ! Even I hated him thinking abt Pia but good that he did not delve long into the matter ! If it had been old Jai I think that he wud have thrown Pia out immly ! I guess its only bani's influence which has taught him patience....Also with Bani deciding not to remind /tell Jai abt what happened now effectively Jai will never come to know of Bani's feelings now ..the fammous communication gap now comes to play here...

I completely agree with you Swathi! In fact I hadn't watched the previous episode when I wrote my last post in this thread....but after watching it I'm more in favour of Jai's reaction. I understand that he could've seen Bani's happy embarassment regarding the consummation but he also had the reverberating words of Pia occupying his thoughts. Pia definitely made her point clear that she thought Bani was not happy with the marriage and that she never wanted to be in it in the first place. She kept emphasizing the "mistake" that she made lead to another "mistake" i.e. JnB's wedding. Words like that could def influence Jai's already confused state of mind and make him very uncomfortable in the position that he was. So def his guilt was justified and so was his concern. Like you said it was for Bani more than for himself and that def deserves some credit! It's def not the pretty face that's making me support his character and his stand with the consummation but it's more so his situation and his reaction to the mistaken realisation that Bani's unhappy with the marriage. Well the fact that he's cute is def an added bonus though! 😉😳😛

Lolz...All of us think so similarly, even I was pretty put off by Jai intially, but on a second viewing, one understands his reaction perfectly!

Jai's first and most spontaneous reaction to the consummation was a total sense of bliss and happiness....If you remember the scene when he wakes up and stretches his hand and then sees Bani, he smiles....very lovingly and longingly.....It was Pia who made him did a double take on what had happened!

And also, Jai is not guilty of what he did, he is guilty of what he did to Bani, when she was apparently in dire emotional distress! Jai wasn't drunk when he made love to Bani, but he assumes that she was and hence she could not stop him or herself even if she had wanted to.....It is but natual that Jai has such feelings, because he is still not clear about what Bani feels for him, or rather how strongly Bani feels for him!

Jai's reaction reminds me of Saif in Hum Tum when he apolgoizes to Rani for what happened between them.....

This is the main difference in the perception of love between a man and a woman.....Love is only one part of a life for a man but for a woman its her whole life.....Jai is in love with Bani but is just not able to put it in the right perspective.....and yes, Pia coming in has only confused him more. Not that it takes away the fact, that Jai might be one hell of a business man, but when it comes to the matters of heart, he is a rank one idiot! 😆

Which leaves us to the good news...That the Confession Scene is yet to take place....

Love yr post. After reading yr post here are my views on why jai behaved like a duffer y'day. (edited from my earlier post with the heading "jai under wrong impression of bani") If u have noticed he was rather happy man when he awoke after consummation with bani. there was no guilt on both the part. He was going to say something to her but pia knocked the door n he didn't. then whatever pia told to bani made jai reminds about those words which bani said to him in the hospital when masi was admitted there. She said that she is in walia house till masi is there. But after that jai started to love bani but at the same time he don't forget bani's words. He once told bani (scene when jai tied the dori of her blouse and then very softly told bani to sit beside him) that he knows she is not happy with him. She suffer a lot becoz of him and now he wanted to see her happy and that's why he decided to give her divorce. That he wants bani to live her own life. Even this kind of word once again repeated when jigs humiliate bani on pregnancy issue, jai saw bani crying and he assume that reason of her crying is that she is fed up of doing acting of his wife for the sake of masi. At that time he said the same thing once again he said in the past and said her not to worry. As soon as masi leave, she will be free from this unwanted relationship. And top of it he heard bani's conversation with pia where she was saying about compromise marriage and getting free from it as soon as possible. These situation lead jai to feel guilty for whatever he did with her. So he thought that she was not in her sense but he was very in his senses. Then how this could be happen? How can he ruin bani's life? so reason behind his guilt was making bani's life miserable at the time when she intend to leave him and his house with the leaving of masi. (he don't know bani's complete make over as her heart only speaks of his name. He remember her last conversation with pia. Stupid kano pe suni baton pe bharosa mat karo. Dimag ka bhi use kiya karo.) he consider himself a bad person and culprit of bani.

Regarding bani I only say that she was clear in her thoughts becoz it was her only decision to leave jai and she made it very clear to him in the hospital. But in love of jai, she forgot about it. Now she wants to live with jai only. That's why she took that moment very positively. While jai remember everything what she said once. Her last conversation with pia was an endorsement of her intension as per jai's point of view. That's why jai felt guilty for that moment and bani took it in a very positive way. Both wants each other's happiness but in their own way. Kamal ka couple hai ye….

Also anu bani was not insecure for pia's presence in walia house as what she felt or feel with roshani in the same house. Just becoz pia is her sister and she don't want to look on that part or ever to think that pia will snatch jai from her or she can do such type of "hurkat" in future. (Bani is over good or sometimes I feel to call her duffer. Even rano is intelligent then her though she is the youngest one.) but here she is making a big mistake by taking this issue so lightly. She being a sister don't know how pia is? If bani will not recognize her this time then I m afraid tht time will come when pia would have done the same thing in jealousy of bani which roshani is doing right now. Pia will try to get apart jai and bani to snatch jai from bani. this will be reason of conflict between bani n pia.

Anu great analysis.You just said wat i was thinking.This Jai,though i like him but on seeing y'day episode was completely disappointed.He makes his own assumptions n neaver even gave a galnce for banis feelings abt de nite.I feel like killing him when he said he felt guilty and not worth of remembering.But i too just lvd the way bani considered those beautiful moments with her husband and that showed she loves him and only him.I just have ony one doubt that mt (by her inside inf) said their relationship will improve then,but they both hav parallel view abt each other.Im just puzzled abt thir behaviour.Is ther a hope?????

Though i agree wid you smthg bugging me that when bani asked jai to leave as roshni will be waiting for him,jais reaction changed suddenly .Dos that mean Jai sensed that bani is in luv with him n/or possessive abt him or smthg like that. Wen he came to know that bani saw them in room n crying out her emotion wat do you think was his exat reaction.As for me i think he moved ahead only after that,if im right?im going mad n confused so cud you plz clear me?

hey anu great analysis as usual. I did not get to read it yesterday so am a little late in replying. But I guess I seem to be the only lonely one who was not angry with Jai at all yesterday. I was kind of expecting it from him. Yes he could have used other words instead of hurting Bani the way he did. But he was just being a man. Men don't think much before speaking specially when it is something to do with emotions.
But after reading the update and watching the video now I guess Bani is going to avoid Jai. I remember MT saying in one of her posts that someone is going to ignore someone and someone is going to be anxious. So I guess Bani will try to stay away from Jai as much as possible and that will make Jai realise his feelings for her. He will not like Bani avoiding him. That was the main reason for him to call their special night a mistake becoz he thinks Bani will not respect him anymore. So when she avoids him he will definately get frustrated. I would love to see that. Bechara he is so confused. Bani just make him realise that you don't regret what happened infact you are so glad that it did happen. bechare ko ek big hug ki jarurat hai.. 😳
