What's 'Kank'? Ask Karan Johar!

Have to give it to him; for being the official Oze for acronyms in Bollywood. First the serpentine title, Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham was fashionably shortened to K3G. Needless to say, the acronym caught on like fire. With everybody referring to his magnum opus as K3G the long winding title was given a decent burial. K3G it was, crisp, sassy and fashionable!
Karan Johar does it again. So when he announced Kank recently he wasn't discussing a fashion label in Milan, instead referring to his forthcoming extravaganza, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna. And Kank is how he fondly refers to it. "Today is the official launch of the acronym" he quipped on the interview.
And who gets to star on his canvas? Well, like always, only the best! A Dharma literate should know that Shahrukh Khan is a must-have for any KJ film. So we'll kick the list after him. Besides SRK, the film stars his current favorites, the talent pot Rani Mukherjee and the dimpled wonder, Preity Zinta. The hottest hunk on the roost, Abhishek Bachchan is on too. Yes, Karan has taken to the actor in a big way. Mani Ratnam's Yuva did it for him to the extent that Karan even flags AB Jr. as the most promising talent. As always Big B's presence is a must, so count Amit Uncle in too. And what's it going to be? "Love story with loads of emotion and glycerin. I am formula man, what else did you expect?" he digs and adds, "But yes, the relationships will be dealt in a never-before seen manner" the articulate anchor informs us.
