The year 2011 has seen some sizzling and some not so sizzling couples on TV. Some made headlines with their on screen chemistry and the TRPs soared new highs, while some disappeared even before they could get noticed. As the year inches to a close, here's a dekko at some of the red hot telly jodis.
Campus romance
If you look back and remember your college days, you will instantly relate to Anant Bajpai (Shaheer Shaikh) and Navya Mishra ( Soumya Seth) from "Navya". A perfect college love story that's got a happy-ever-after for the romantic leads - after all the tiffs and parental disapproval, the protagonists are finally getting married. What began as a typical boy-meets- girl and went in to the first flush of love, youngsters connect to the show. And here's what keeps the show getting, er, spicier - the cute couple have even kissed each other (on the cheeks only silly!) a few times on the show and have expressed their love in Bollywood style (complete with film songs playing in the background).
